Hey you beautiful beans! I'm so sorry I haven't been updating lately, I've been so busy lately with, ya know, life😅

But I hope you all enjoy this next chapter.

Fair warning, the main character can talk to her animals like they're people and they talk back🤣 don't judge, it'll make sense at one point or another

After Work ~

She let out a sigh of relief as she closed the front door behind her, placing her keys on the small table in her entryway. "Re! Syd! I'm home!" She called out as she entered the house fully after pulling off her shoes and took a seat on the couch to relax, setting her bag aside.

"You're home! Welcome home, Mummy!" A soft mewl said at her feet and she looked down to smile at her smallest cat, a kitten named Remus.

"Hi, baby, did you miss me?" She asked as she scooped up the feline into her arms, petting the soft fur behind his ears.

"Yeah! You were gone for so long!" He mewled happily in reply before he sniffed the air, backing up his head to sniff curiously at her hand. "You smell funny, Mummy." He said as he sniffed her hand.

"I ran into a few people today, Re." He seemed to shake his head for a minute as he eyed her suspiciously.

"You smell like someone new." He said as she adjusted her position on the sofa to place him comfortably in her lap, still scratching affectionately behind his ears.

"I made a new friend today, baby. Is that what you wanted me to tell you?" She asked with a giggle. "Where's your brother?"

"Sydney is upstairs, he's taking a nap. I was waiting for you, and a new friend?" His green eyes lit up in excitement. "When can I meet them, Mummy?" He asked as she scooped him up once more and made her way upstairs.

"I'm not too sure, Re, but it won't be anytime soon. I only just met him." She explained with a giggle as she stepped into her bedroom to see her other cat curled into a ball on the corner of her soft mattress, sleeping soundly. She placed Remus down next to him, smiling softly at the sight of Remus curling up into his big brother's side.

"I can't wait to meet your new friend, Mummy." Remus said with a yawn before he cleaned his paws and his face before he promptly fell asleep.

She smiled at the sight, quickly taking out her phone to take a picture before she made her way back downstairs after quickly changing, gathering a few things she'd need and her tripod.

She was running late for her stream.

She sat down on the floor in her living room after setting up her tripod and makeup, getting to work on doing her makeup for her cosplay stream. She had decided to cosplay as Bakugou today, since it had been a while since she had last done him and he was a fan favourite.
