Song suggestion- Life Of The Party by Shawn Mended

//shawn peter raul mendes//

Big things don’t happen to small towns, sometimes though if you're lucky they do. Shawn had that chance, the one that millions of people wish for but never get.

The fame was an over night sort of thing. The one video that blew up, that brought the fame.

At first it was amazing, the girls, the tours, his new best friends.

Everything seemed to be going alright but things change. To his fans he seemed like the same sweet Canadian boy, which he still was but it became buried under the pop star.

It all started with that one six second video, YouTube was shitty with too many people trying to become someone while Vine was new, too many people where afraid to show what they had.

The stupid video changed his life.

His parents where hesitant about letting their son go face the music world, they were in fear he would become someone he wasn’t.

Shawn begged for weeks until they finally agreed. After a few months however, he began to change.

He started thinking he was better than everyone else. He turned into the person his parents where afraid of.

The rain started to pour down again as they all sat in the hotel room waiting for Nash to return. Hayes had apparently flown back to North Carolina for Exams but looking at the storm coming in he was going to be stuck in the airport for a while unless the out flew it.

The door opened and all the heads turned, expecting to see a soaking wet Nash they saw Bart standing in the doorway with a terrified look on his face.

Cam was quick to jump up, making his way to Bart with an anxious look printed on his face.

“Bart.. What happened?” He asked as if he had only just ran a marathon.

I barley hear his whisper Nash. By now were all crowded around him wondering what had happened.

“He’s in the hospital, lets go.”

Those where the only words of information we got before being running down the steps towards the limo.

We drove by the scene and it all made sense, Nash had gotten hit by a car.

I hear Cameron’s sob rip through the car and a few words being said by Matt to him.

I could see why Cam was crying as we got closer, the whole front left side of the car was indented and a good fifty feet around it was inclosed by cop cars and security tape.

The car ride was quiet besides a few sniffles and Cams loud sobs, he practically lost his best friend and barley knows what happen.

Pulling up to the hospital we rush inside. Matt asks a nurse for Nash Grier and she simply tells us we can’t see him at the moment and continues working.

Cameron flips and starts screaming about how it’s not fair. Matt tries to calm him down but it doesn't work.

Walking towards Cameron he grabbed his shirt.

“Shut up Cam! You're not the only one here, Nash is going to be fine!”

Cameron looks me dead in the eye and started to scream how inconsiderate he was.

Shawn had to walk out of the room leaving Gilinsky and Aaron holding Cam back from attacking him.

Matthew followed him out onto the street, pinning him up against the wall he started his speech.

“Listen here Shawn, when we first meet you, you were a fun loving, guitar playing Canadian boy but now all I can see is a dick who got caught up in the fame! Shawn what happened to all of our promises we made together? Nash is dying right now and all you can think about yourself! You're a selfish prick! Just leave.”

Leaving Shawn standing in the rain Matt returned back the the warmth of the hospital.

His words hit hard, he realized he had changed and was a dick. He had become everything he said he wouldn’t. Nash was dying and there was nothing they could do.

Hailing a cab and telling him the address of the hotel he went back. Passing the scene again the pit in his stomach only grew.

He was an asshole, he didn’t deserve any of this.

What was the point in living a life like this? He was done.

Going up to his room which he shared with Matt he packed all his stuff. Leaving his half of the room spotless and clue free he left.

The rain pouring, his thoughts flowing, the last time he would see the boys, the last time he would ever feel anything but alone.

Three were down, how many more to go?
