As the day went by George went around in search of "Dream". He asked close friends during his lunch, acquaintances from other classes, and even his own teachers to see if maybe Dream happened to be on one of their student rosters yet no one seemed to have him. While he would go inform his math teacher Mr. Watson about the left behind student journal, after today he's really not in the mood to see him, much less talk to him so when the day came to an end George figured he might as well call it quits today and try again tomorrow.

As George started making his way out of the school building and into the student parking lot still covered with various puddles ranging from different sizes from the afternoon rain he had the idea that Dream, like any other high school teenager, would probably have social media. While George may not have a huge following platform on any of his social media accounts and doesn't really post anything he was still going to try and see if maybe making a post about a lost journal will somehow find its way over to Dream.

As the car door was shut with an exhausted arm, George sat still in the driver's seat, gave a brief glance at the backpack sitting next to him, then proceeded to turn his keys and ready himself for the drive home. During the drive a light thought began to sneak its way into the back of George's mind," Why do I care so much about returning a stupid journal? Maybe the kid purposely left it behind as an excuse to not have their notes for their homework or something". Then the harsh reality struck that perhaps, George is using this as an opportunity to make a new friend.

While George does have friends of his own, their little friendship circle involving George is limited to himself and three other people and George shares a class with none of them, only seeing them during their lunch period. So maybe the idea of having at least one friend or an acquaintance in his least favorite class wouldn't be so bad. Despite what he may say or think about the idea of people, still, the world inside the school walls is a big place that can make you feel small when left to yourself for too long. Whatever the reason seemed to be, George was still willing to return the lost journal back to its person.

Once he arrived home, parking his car in a spot that wouldn't pose as an obstacle for his parents anytime they have to leave as he's done with their calls for him to move his car, he went to his room, dumping his backpack of things he couldn't care less for and proceeded to fall dramatically onto his bed. He stayed there for a few moments just staring up at the ceiling and letting his mind focus on things such as how his body sinks into the mattress that was practically molded to fit George perfectly or hearing his heart slowly beating in the silence of his dull quiet home. Getting up, George took out the journal, planting it onto his desk and got onto his phone, logging into twitter. He took a quick photo of the journal and made a tweet saying," I found this journal lying on a desk in my math class earlier today. If anybody knows anyone who might've lost a journal please notify me @georgenotfound"

After the tweet was made, George tossed his phone onto his desk and fell back onto his bed with his face being smothered by a crumpled up blanket and a wrinkled bed sheet. The silence can do wonders to a person's mind, bring back all the things you did or said throughout the day and reflect on them to see what you'd change or have you wanting to see what'd you'll do next once you start to move again. Right now however, George doesn't really have a choice on what he should do next as a good amount of homework sits waiting in his backpack. He gives a long sigh, before sitting back up again and reaching for the papers with words he right now can't bring himself to read, gets out a pencil sitting in a cup on his desk and gets to work.

The night came fairly quickly as George sat slumped in his chair and stared at the small pile of barely completed homework that can only be seen by a small lamp sitting on his desk. George had never been the type to finish his homework quickly, choosing to procrastinate and pretend that school no longer exists as he sits and searches for some sense of entertainment on his phone while also every now and again checking to see if he's received any dms from a certain "Dream". With the only source of light now being from his little lamp and the moon being able to somehow creep its way into his room through a small gap in his curtains, George figured that now would be a good time to call lights out for today as another long day awaits for him in the morning.

A slight buzz from the phone sleeping beside him is all that it takes for George to force his eyes open and see his phone, now being lit up, from a notification that demanded George's attention. For a moment, George couldn't figure out what could be so important that it had to wake him from his very much needed sleep, then it hit him. He slowly picked up his phone, lowering the blinding light first in an attempt to save his eyes from damaging squints, then proceeded to press on the notification with a little blue bird taking him to a message that read," Hey, I think you have my journal". The little icon of the messenger spelled out the name George had been hoping to see," Dream". "Oh cool" George replies, "Meet me in front of the school near the benches" He finishes. A sigh of relief "I found you ".
