Asha
"You have safe passage," the mage says.
"Clot their blood they should live," I advise, putting up my knives before taking little Idris' hand. He's staring at the blood and mages, his eyes a little bugged out.
"That was—" Idris starts.
"Shh, come on, I doubt his word and we're almost at the temple, it's holy ground we have the right to asylum there," I advise Idris, tugging him along.
"I doubt his word too--- you just killed two mages," Idris says.
"I didn't strike the juglar, just a few other veins, they should live if he gets them help instead of seeking revenge, they are required to carry blood clotters he should know how to use them," I explain.
"And if he doesn't and they don't and you hit the wrong vein in the dark by mistake?" he asks, looking at me pointedly.
"Then it's not my problem. I asked them for safe passage they denied it," I say, shrugging, "They were duly warned."
"You still probably killed someone---have you done that before?"
"You want to kill whoever cursed you," I say.
"I never said that---"
"Don't you?"
"That's different."
"Is it?"
"Yeah---yeah it is those guys were doing their job."
"And they should have stayed out of my way."

From the sounds of it, they think they've located the Forbidden Object and whatever sorcerer made it. Somewhere in the north end of Tira. Well that's where I'm going. If Asha didn't do it, she's involved I'm sure. I've no doubt she could make a forbidden object if she wanted to. Leave it to that girl to decide to do that instead of her quest. That would be entirely typical. Hell, her brothers probably encouraged the idea.
I've broken out of the dungeons before, more than once actually, but they are being quite strict tonight. I'll need to be careful.
I have my enchanted key which lets me out, but the moment I am out guards pass and I go right back in. Out a second time, I put my helmet back on, and begin to make my way out of the maze of dungeons.
The first corner I turn, however, I run smack-dab into someone. Another escapee, thankfully. A female mage, by her garb, a dark grey headscarf and similarly drab dark robes.
"You're Fae," she says, surprised and a bit afraid I think having run into me.
"I mean no harm, I am attempting to leave. I have a child waiting," I say, holding up my hands. She seems to relax a little at the sound of my voice, hearing that I'm a woman.
"So do I----can I hire you? I have to find my son I'm afraid he's in danger," she says and I hear panic in her voice.
"Sure," surprising way to find a job but I'll take it.
"I want to hire you to help me find my son---he's dying and he's run away, and I can't lose him like that, I have to say goodbye----so name your price," she says.
"Typically my price would be a lock of your hair, cut under the full moon---quite good for spells and rather valuable if you know orcs----but there is no price for a mother seeking her child, no spell can demand that," I say, smiling though she can't see it, "I may ask safe harbor for this odd night, however, it doesn't seem easy to move about in Tira tonight."
