Chapter 8-Getting in

Pokespeak is on.

Meowth, Wobbuffet, Inkay and Pumpkaboo were quick to finish his portion of the food. After all, they always had a lack of food.

"And...done!" Meowth said, stretching after eating.

Pikachu stared at him while holding his berry. He obviously didn't forget what happened while they were searching for food. But what was that thing that Meowth knew, but not himself?

Leavanny, Dedenne, and Luxray noticed Pikachu staring at Meowth, but didn't say anything.

"Okay, we'll launch our plan after we all finish our food." Terrakion said.

Fletchinder, who had finished eating, used their beak to drag Chespin away from the others before they ate from someone else's bowl.

"Hey, can I keep these clothes?" Meowth asked, looking at the short sleeves.

"I mean, why not?" Leavanny replied, chewing on their last berry.

Pikachu opened his mouth, but Braixen was quicker to speak, "You're going to use it as disguises to trick us, right?" 

Pikachu laughed and said, "That was what I was going to say! And he's so good at acting that he should get a award, so that's probably right."

"That's not tha reason, I jus' like these clothes!" Meowth snapped.

"Yeah, I can see why." Pikachu said, and he was going to add that Meowth does look good without the clothes too, but he caught himself before saying it, but it might of been too late.

"Ya...can see why?" Meowth said, shocked.

"Wha-" Wobbuffet said.

The rest just stared at Pikachu.

Goodra lifted Pikachu up, and eye to eye Goodra said, "Is there something wrong with you?" 

"No." Pikachu replied.

"Ok..." Keldeo said, their eyes on Pikachu.

Pikachu sighed in relief while Goodra put him back down .

~3 minutes later~

Everyone (but Meowth) was hiding in the bushes.

Meowth knocked on The Wall. Meowth was nervous, but he remembered what Hawlucha had said,

"When you act, try not to get nervous. Or at least, ignore your nervousness."

Meowth immediately ran back knowing that The Wall would fall down.

"Who- Hello." the Ditto said, now as themself.

"Hello." Meowth responded plainly, looking serious, and his seriousness acting reminded himself of when he convinced the "twerps" in Sinnoh that he wanted to "join" them.

"Get out now." the Ditto said, now turning away.

Meowth's heart sunk, but he continued to act, so he put his hand on the Ditto.

"What is it?" Ditto said and changed into that sliver thing from earlier.

"Uh...Uh...I want to join you." Meowth said, trying to be calm.

The Ditto changed back and said, "I won't need any help of yours."

"Look, I've hated humans since I was born. I even learned how ta talk just to trick humans into trashing their dumb things!" Meowth said.

Everyone was kind of shocked that Meowth was able to say that so convincingly. Pikachu was right when they said Meowth was so excellent at acting.

"Hm, okay. You'll be security." Ditto said, and walked away.

Meowth wanted to complain, but instead he said, "Okay, so where should I guard?"

"The front." Ditto replied, turned into the silver thing and stepped the spot.

"Okay!" Meowth said saluting and walking on the spot.

Ditto did not change back and walked away.

The Wall went up, and everybody came out from the bushes.

Lopunny knocked on the door, and Meowth answered, to their relief.

 "That was close, I thought I was going to make signs that I didn't want to this... but I succeeded. Let's go." Meowth said, sighing.

"Remember, we'll have to be quiet." Skiddo said.

Pancham glared at Chespin and whispered, "Especially for you."

Fortunately, Chespin didn't hear this.

There were 2 ways, and they couldn't guess because that would be wasting their time.

Goodra pointed left and whispered, "There's a map."

They all went- some flied, some walked- quietly to the map. It seemed to be in a glass protector, and taped to the wall.

"Okay, so the machine that they're using, and their plan should be over there..." Virizion whispered, after looking at the map, and pointed their body right.

"Let's go!" Inkay said, whisper-shouting.

"I...I'll try to be confident." the (what they guessed, and probably was) unconfident, but becoming confident Ducklett whispered.
