Vanessa's POV:
After having some Chinese takeout with Jenna, I decided that it was time to talk to her about this..
"Hey Jenna?"
"Yeah?" She turned towards me, walking back from the kitchen after cleaning up our dishes.
"I've been thinking lately... maybe you should move in with me!" I blushed, looking up at her with a shy smile. Her eyes widened and her face flushed red, seemingly a bit shocked.
"M-Move in with you? You'd be comfortable with that?"
"Of course I would! Besides, you've kinda been staying here with me for a while anyways. My apartment is closer to work and it would be cheaper for both of us. It's only if you're comfortable with it though."
Jenna sat next to me on the couch and held my hand, looking at me with her eyes full of joy.
"I'd love to! My contract for my apartment ends in a month anyways, so I guess this is good timing."
"That's perfect then!! Do you want me to come help you pack tomorrow?"
"No it's alright, but thank you. I'm sure my place is a mess right now.." she chuckled, scratching the back of her neck.
"Alright, I'll stay back here and clear some room for your belongings. I'm glad we're in agreement about this." I beamed, leaning over to kiss Jenna on the cheek. By surprise, she gently pulled my face towards her and she kissed me on the lips.
"S-Sorry did I startle you Nessa?"
"Only a little, b-but I liked it! That was sweet Jenny." I gave her another kiss, before we agreed to get some rest for our big day tomorrow.

We went into the bedroom to get changed when I noticed the bunny plush next to Glitchtrap.
"Is that yours?" I asked as I pointed to it.
"Yeah I got her at a new thrift store today! I thought they looked cute together." She chuckled, but in a different way than normal.. she seemed a bit uneasy.
"Oh alright, I was just curious."
We both got comfortable and I laid my head on her chest as we snuggled close, with her playing with my hair until I fell asleep.

As I woke up, I realized Jenna had already left with the car. I guess she must be eager to move in!! After getting up and stretching, I had a small breakfast and returned to my.. or.. our bedroom to start making room for Jenna's items. It was a bit quiet so I decided to pick up Glitchtrap, who weirdly seemed to be mid-conversation?
"𝕎𝕖𝕝𝕝 𝕀 𝕕𝕠𝕟'𝕥-" He stopped speaking abruptly.
"Don't what..?"
"𝕆𝕙 𝕦𝕞.. 𝕀 𝕨𝕒𝕤 𝕥𝕒𝕝𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕠 𝕤𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕖𝕝𝕤𝕖." He replied sheepishly.
"Someone else?? There's no one else in the apartment. You haven't spoke to Jenna, have you?"
"ℕ-ℕ𝕠 𝕀 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕖𝕟'𝕥 𝕤𝕡𝕠𝕜𝕖𝕟 𝕥𝕠 𝕁𝕖𝕟𝕟𝕒. 𝕀'𝕕 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕥𝕠 𝕞𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝔸𝕓𝕚𝕘𝕒𝕚𝕝." He spoke as his pupils looked back towards the other bunny plush. Another spirit in a bunny plush?!
"There's another soul..? And Jenna brought her home? Was she aware of this?"
"𝕁𝕖𝕟𝕟𝕒 𝕨𝕒𝕤 𝕗𝕦𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝕒𝕨𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕚𝕥 𝕨𝕙𝕖𝕟 𝕤𝕙𝕖 𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕙𝕖𝕣. 𝕊𝕙𝕖 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝕥𝕠 𝕙𝕖𝕝𝕡 𝔸𝕓𝕚𝕘𝕒𝕚𝕝 𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕔𝕖 𝕤𝕙𝕖 𝕙𝕒𝕕 𝕡𝕣𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕠𝕦𝕤𝕝𝕪 𝕓𝕖𝕖𝕟 𝕝𝕖𝕗𝕥 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕒𝕝𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕚𝕟 𝕒 𝕓𝕒𝕤𝕖𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕕𝕖𝕔𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕤. 𝕀 𝕘𝕦𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝕤𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕪𝕞𝕡𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕫𝕖𝕕 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕙𝕖𝕣."
"S-So she was going to keep it a secret from me..?" I felt my heart drop a bit.
"𝕋𝕠 𝕓𝕖 𝕗𝕒𝕚𝕣 𝕍𝕒𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕒, 𝕤𝕙𝕖 𝕜𝕟𝕠𝕨𝕤 𝕟𝕠𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕞𝕖 𝕠𝕣 𝕍𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕪 𝕖𝕚𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣."
He has a good point, she really doesn't know much about the project.
"I guess so... But have you told Abigail about our project?"
"𝕀 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕖, 𝕓𝕦𝕥 𝕀 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕜 𝕤𝕙𝕖 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕓𝕖 𝕒 𝕙𝕦𝕘𝕖 𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕖𝕥 𝕥𝕠 𝕦𝕤."
"In what way?"
"𝕊𝕙𝕖 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕙𝕖𝕝𝕡 𝕦𝕤 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕧𝕚𝕟𝕔𝕖 𝕁𝕖𝕟𝕟𝕒 𝕥𝕠 𝕛𝕠𝕚𝕟 𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕥𝕖𝕒𝕞."
"HUH?! OUR TEAM?!"
"𝕍𝕒𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕒, 𝕡𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕔𝕒𝕝𝕞 𝕕𝕠𝕨𝕟. 𝕀 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕜 𝕚𝕗 𝕨𝕖 𝕖𝕩𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕠 𝕙𝕖𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕨𝕖'𝕣𝕖 𝕥𝕣𝕪𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕠 𝕕𝕠 𝕤𝕔𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕚𝕗𝕚𝕔 𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕔𝕙 𝕗𝕠𝕣  𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕘𝕠𝕠𝕕 𝕠𝕗 𝕠𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕤, 𝕤𝕙𝕖 𝕞𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕟𝕠𝕥 𝕓𝕖 𝕒𝕤 𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕣𝕥𝕝𝕖𝕕 𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕨𝕙𝕠𝕝𝕖 𝕜𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒𝕤𝕡𝕖𝕔𝕥. "She most likely wants Jenna to be involved so she can get a vessel as well, right?"
"𝕎𝕖𝕝𝕝, 𝕪𝕖𝕤, 𝕓𝕦𝕥 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕒𝕝𝕤𝕠 𝕔𝕒𝕟'𝕥 𝕖𝕩𝕡𝕖𝕔𝕥 𝕁𝕖𝕟𝕟𝕒 𝕥𝕠 𝕝𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕟𝕠𝕥 𝕗𝕚𝕟𝕕 𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕍𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕪."
"I guess that's true.. but I'll have to think about it more. It's not like it's a casual thing to bring up..."
"𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕍𝕒𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕒, 𝕀 𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕣𝕖𝕔𝕚𝕒𝕥𝕖 𝕚𝕥."

I then sat Glitchtrap back down next to Abigail so I could continue cleaning and organizing in preparation of Jenna moving in. I kept thinking about their plan to include Jenna, and I almost started to feel guilty for not considering it earlier. I love Jenna, and I don't want to lose her, but I can't expect to build up a relationship based on lies and deceit. She deserves to know the truth and I'd honestly love to share my work with her. I could feel my hands becoming shaky by the thought of startling or upsetting her, but a part of me felt like she could understand what I'm working towards. Even if she doesn't, I hope that she'll be able to accept it and support me from the sidelines. As I continued thinking about the positives and negatives that could come from me confessing, I heard her unlock the front door. You know what? Let me take this slow and ease her into the idea. Let's start with the people we've been keeping a secret.

I grabbed Abigail and Glitchtrap off of the nightstand before walking out of the bedroom and standing in the living room, across from the doorway where she was standing. She set down a couple of boxes and looked over at me, glancing down at the plushies in my hands. I gently held up Abigail in my quivering hands, looking Jenna in the eyes.
"We need to talk." I spoke in a semi-confident voice, trying my best not to stutter. Jenna's eyes widened as she saw me holding the plush, assuming that I was upset.
"N-Ness I didn't mean to keep it a secret from you.!! I just didn't know how you would react and-"
"I'm not upset Jenna."
"You're not..?"
"No, if anything I should be the one apologizing." I sat down on the couch, motioning for her to sit across from me. She came over and tried to relax, although I could tell that she was incredibly curious about what I had to say.
"Apologizing? For what?"
"She isn't the only spirit in the house." I admitted as I placed Glitchtrap on the coffee table. I expected her to be shocked, but she actually seemed to grasp the situation quite easily.
"I'll have to admit that I didn't expect this, but it makes sense when I think about it. I remember you snatching it out of my hands on the first day I met you, which I always thought was odd. You also bring it almost everywhere you go, which I just assumed was an attachment to a childhood toy." She spoke openly as she scratched her chin, putting the pieces together.
"Y-Yeah I understand why that would come across as weird. I just didn't want to freak you out!" She chuckled at my response, putting her hand on my shoulder.
"Vanessa, you could never freak me out! Even if you did, we could work through it. I've never met someone who was so caring and fun to be around, you make me feel complete. Besides, it seems like we were both keeping secrets from each other and I don't want it to be like that, especially if we'll be living together. Have anything else you want to get off your chest?"
"Can I speak to you about it at a later time? I'd rather focus on our spirits for now."
"Of course! I'd love to meet them."
"Sounds great!"

I began to breathe a sigh of relief. It's definitely way too early to tell her about the project, but I at least want her to know about Glitchtrap and I need to learn more about Abigail. I'm just thankful that she didn't freak out or anything. Maybe Glitchtrap is right about Abigail being an asset, especially since she made this a lot easier to explain to Jenna. For now we can all simply get to know each other!
