I've had an idea on something I wanna do to my hair but I never thought of actually doing it. A neon highlighter green under dye.

"Mom!?"I yell- "Yes?" -she says- "can I get a neon green under dye?" -I say- "If that's what you want." -she says- "OMG THANK YOU!!!" -I say- "of course!" -She says- "ill schedule you an appointment for 3:45." -mom says- "ok! Don't tell the boys. I want it to be a surprise" -I say- "ok!" -mom says-

I went back upstairs and looked for clothes I was gonna wear. "Hey y/n?" -Robby asks- "what?" -I ask- "where are you going"-Robby asks- "it's a surprise" -I say- "I think you might like it or you might hate it." -I say- "oh no" -Robby says-

~time jump~

"Mom it's 3:45!" -I say- "ok! Get in the car" -she says- "okay" -I say- "ok sorry!" -she says-

We got in the car and started driving to the salon. "Im nervous! But excited" -I say- "I think it will be cute!" -mom says- mom also informed me that she has to run errands while I'm getting my hair done.

"We're here!" -mom says- "ok! I'll text you when I'm done!" -I say- "ok!" -she says-

"I'm here for my under dye appointment!" -I say to the lady at the counter- "y/n y/l/n?" -she asks- "that's me!" -I say- "right this way." -she says- I followed her to a chair, a few seconds later another woman came out and started talking to me.

"What color are we doing today?" -she says- "neon green!" -I say- "ooo! Have you ever bleached your hair before?" -she asks- "nope! First time!" -I say- "I'm gonna warn you! It's gonna itch and burn like crazy." -she says- "ugh! I think I'll be ok" -I say-

She started messing with my hair and we were making small talk. "I finished putting the bleach in! I'll come and check on you in about 30 minutes!" -she says-

About 20 minutes later the lady comes out. "Your hair is ready to be washed and colored!" -she says- "ok!" -I say- she helped me up and walked me over to the hair washing station. A few minutes she helped me up again and we went to where I was originally sitting. She put the dye in my hair. "I'll be back in 45 minutes! Than your hair will be ready!" -she says- "ok! Thank you!"

I took a lot of selfies and was on my phone a lot! The lady walked out again. She washed my hair and told me I'm free to go! I texted mom. "I'm ready!" -I say- "ok! I'll see you in a few minutes" a few minutes mom pulled up and made my way to the car. "I LOVE IT!" -mom says- "I KNOW ME TOO!!" -I say- "I think the boys will like it!" -she says-

A few minutes later we were home. As soon as I opened the door the boys came running down the stairs. It wasn't obvious I dyed my hair unless you lifted it up.

I went to Robby's room. "What did you do to your hair?"-robby asks- I turned around and lifted it up. "Damn!! I like it"-robby says-

"I'm going to sleep, I have school." -I say- "ok!" -Robby and mom says-
