Part 21

~days later~

I woke up about an hour ago, maybe a little longer than that. I'm eating a pop tart while I watch a movie (insert movie name).

Suddenly, my door swung open and Eli walked in and immediately crawled into my arms. (Yes, it's completely normal for us to just walk into each other's houses.) I set my pop tart down.

The way he walked in, the way he looked, the way he smiled before clinging to my body. Something was off. "What's wrong baby?"-I ask- I adjusted myself and rubbed his forehead. His piercing blue eyes looked up at me, filled with complete sadness.

"Talk to me, my love."-I say- "mom said we might have to move a long time ago! Why? She applied for a job at the hospital as a nurse and got the job! The hospital is across town and we're having to move!"-Eli says-

"I don't wanna move!"-Eli says through his teeth- I rested my chin on his head. "Are you gonna have to change schools?"-I ask- "nuh uh"-Eli hums- "that's good, at least."-I say- "I won't be able to see you anymore!"-Eli says-  he began to flap his hands in sadness/fear. I took quick notice of this and held his hands in mine.

"Are we gonna have to break up?"-Eli asks softly- "no, of course not."-I say- I planted a 5 second long kiss on his head. "When are y'all leaving?"-I ask- "in the next 2 days.."-Eli says- "I don't want you to leave!"-I say- Eli nodded in agreement. "What if you move in next to a pretty girl and she likes you?"-I ask- "I highly doubt that will happen."-Eli says-

"No one else has EVER liked me, you have nothing to worry about."-Eli says- "if anyone has to worry about that it's me! What if a hot new guy moves in next to you?"-Eli says- "I love you and ONLY YOU. Always and forever."-I say- "I'm gonna miss you! I'm only gonna see you at school, maybe sometimes outside of school."-I say- "everything's gonna change now."-Eli says-

~later~

"I'm genuinely curious, what did you think about the first time you saw me?"-I ask- "I was scared that you were gonna be mean. I thought you were very pretty, too pretty to even acknowledge my presence. I wanted to be your friend immediately but knowing me, I assumed you wouldn't feel the same about that one so I kept my mouth shut."-Eli says-

He continued to go on. "What about me?"-Eli asks-"I thought you were cute IMMEDIATELY. Like no joke, immediately. I was low key kind of a bitch. Your mom introduced herself to us and she said that you wanted to meet me, hoping that we could be friends."-I say- "funny story, I never said that, she thought it would be a good opportunity for me to make friends. I didn't wanna talk to you because I never talked to a girl up to that point."-Eli says-

I smiled and shook my head. "I pretty much begged my mom silently to not make me go meet you. But I did it. It was okay, better than I expected. This is the most bitchy part,when I asked you 'what's the deal with your lip?'. I felt awful after that, I still do just thinking about it. Especially thinking about how everyone says something about it."-I say-

"That's the part when I thought you were gonna bully me, but that quickly changed."-Eli says- "I ran inside and started telling my mom about how cute you were, you can ask her. This really happened, I thought it was so stupid to have a crush on a boy I met LITERALLY 20 minutes ago."-I say-

"Really?! I did the same thing...!"-Eli says- "I always think back to what would've happened if I actually said 'no' to going to meet you. That was the best thing that happened to me, meeting you."-I say-

Eli scratched his nose as he blushed which I thought was absolutely adorable.

Not much happened after that. Me and Eli hung out, he went home, I went to bed. Just the usual.
