Y/n and the gang stop to take a lunch break on their way to the Nacrene City Gym. While eating, they spot a most unusual Dwebble—one that doesn't have a stone on its back to protect itself from its enemies. They watch as it finds a rock it likes and carefully carves it into the perfect shape. But as soon as the work is finished, three other Dwebble appear and steal the stone away!
After convincing Dwebble to allow them to help, Y/n and Palutena made a trap for the three Dwebble. They had three bowls of Pokemon food in aura bubble , they controlled them to move around the area, and just like they hoped, the Dwebble trio was lured out. After the guardian's Lucario and Gardevoir quickly took out the two lackeys with a aura sphere and moon blast.
This left the leader and the one who stole the rock left standing, with Cilan's help, Dwebble was able to defeat the leader and reclaim it's stolen rock while the leader lost it's, with it fleeing after losing it's nerve and rock.
After celebrating with the happy Dwebble, our heroes are ready to say farewell and move on...but soon discover that Dwebble is following them. It seems Dwebble bonded with Cilan and his Pansage during their adventure and now wants to join the team—and Cilan is delighted to have such a clever Pokemon on his side!
As they stopped for lunch, Y/n volunteered taking over the cooking which Cilan agreed.
"Allow me to help." Palutena said while watching Y/n cook.
Y/n tensed at that, before objecting immediately.
"Uh no no no Master Palutena, with all due respect, your not allowed to cook at all."
"And why not? I know what i'm doing."
"I beg to differ master, the last time you cooked, it ended up being a disaster."
"Oh really? Name one time."
"Need i remind you about the last time we allowed you to cook? The first time you blew up the kitchen when you forgot about the cooker while it's at it's highest setting."
"That was a one time mistake!"
"The second time wasn't any better, even with me keeping an eye on you, you unknowingly poured an spicy ingredient more then needed while lightly scolding me that you fully capable to cooking , and when it was done and we took a bite, we temporarily became fire types due to how spicy it was."
"I learned from my mistakes Y/n, allow me to help you, i'm one hundred percent guarantee i'll be able to do it. You know what they say, the third times the charm."
"I sure hope so, for all our sakes..."
"I'm going pretend i didn't hear that, now let's get started."
After about five minutes, with Y/n keeping a close eye on his teacher the whole time. Y/n was surprised that his teacher had improved like she said, but he still kept a close eye on her.
"This is great Y/n." Ash said with his mouth full. The others also comment on how good Y/n's cooking was while the male guardian slightly blushing at the praise.
"Well it wasn't just me, master Plautena also helped." He said humbly.
Before said guardian could say anything, they heard a new voice spoke up.
"Hey Y/n, miss Palutena." A emotionless voice said.
They all turned to see a young white haired girl with amber eyes standing next to Y/n.
"Koneko?" The two asked in slight surprise.
"Y/n, i'll be joining your journey if you don't mind,"
