they spent some minutes hugging on the grass until they remembered their friends, who must be waiting for them by now. they skateboarded their way to the lonely hallways where they usually hang out, and by they it means taehyung, yoongi, jimin and hoseok. it was a new place for the other three boys.

"there you are, romeo and juliet." jimin chuckled, watching how the two boys approached them with a smile on their faces.

"did you fall off the skateboard?" seokjin asked jungkook, the younger boy shaking his head. "i have my first aid kit just in case."

"he's okay, mother." taehyung teased, seokjin hitting his arm playfully. "you got the painting cans, right?"

"you know we do." hoseok laughed, throwing a black backpack at taehyung, the boy catching it and giving him a thumbs up.

they all chose one spot in the big wall —which was constantly painted in an ugly orange color to cover up their paintings, so they just kept painting over it—, namjoon and seokjin painting random stuff on the wall while the other five boys actually took the time to think about something to draw.

"it's my first time doing this." jungkook said, looking at the wall in front of him with his hand on his hips. taehyung chuckled while grabbing a spray can from the worn out backpack.

"i'm glad i'm able to be part of multiple first times in your life." he smiled, jungkook smiling too and kissing him on the cheek. they're so cheesy, but they didn't care. "let's paint something, but we can't see each other's drawing until we finish. deal?"

"deal." jungkook nodded, already having an idea of his drawing. luckily, they were a couple of spray cans for each color, since they both needed the same particular color for their drawing.

all you could hear was the sound of the spray paint meeting the wall and the boys laughing from time to time, mostly hoseok and seokjin. jungkook absolutely loved this. his mother always said that it was vandalizing and it was wrong, so he never really gave it a chance until now. it was very relaxing.

they spent almost half an hour with their drawings, namjoon and seokjin eventually getting tired of drawing their abstract art and sitting on the floor. taehyung was the first one to finish, jungkook forcing him to look the other way and wait for him.

after they both finished, they closed their eyes and took a few steps back, counting to three and opening them. they were left dumbfounded, amazed by how they drew something so similar while not looking at what the other did.

jungkook's drawing was a cute minimalist elephant sitting like a human and hugging a purple heart. the name tae tae! standing proudly at the top. "the elephant represents the two moles your arm." he explained, the purple heart speaking for itself. "they're really cute."

taehyung blushed slightly, mesmerized by the fact that jungkook thought about something so small and irrelevant of him. taehyung's drawing was the same as jungkook, but a bunny holding the heart and the name kookie! "the bunny represents your cute smile." he explained, jungkook laughing and surrounding him in a loving hug.

"you guys are so cheesy." yoongi said, faking disgust, the other boys laughing at his words. "couldn't be me."

"really? because jimin and hoseok always talk about how soft and cute you are at home." taehyung answered, yoongi rolling his eyes at the comeback, making his boyfriends to coo at him and pinch his cheeks.

they talked about random stuff until they decided that it was time to head back, the couples going their separate ways after saying their goodbyes. jungkook and taehyung were walking to taehyung's house, the lights on the street showing them the way.

"you know, i was mad the day you showed me how to skate." jungkook confessed, the older looking at him with a small confused frown. "you had to drop me off so you could go with your friends to do older people's stuff. i felt like a child and i didn't want you to see me that way." he explained, taehyung laughing softly at jungkook. seriously, how can everything that the younger says be so adorable?

"if it makes you feel any better, the time we fucked you showed me you're not a child-"

"taehyung, oh my god." jungkook interrupted, embarrassment showing through his colored cheeks, the blond laughing mischievously.

"well, did i make it up to you today?" he asked, jungkook nodding with a smile on his face. once they reached their home, they went silently up the stairs and to the older's room, since it was pretty late and taehyung's parents were already sleeping.

"i want to look for a job." the younger suddenly said, taehyung taking off his shirt to take a bath. "i want to work and earn my own money and i want us to move to a cute apartment."

taehyung looked at jungkook with squinted eyes, dropping his shirt on the floor carelessly. "do you really want to plan your future with me, kookie?"

"why shouldn't i plan the future with the person i love?" he frowned, taehyung feeling like tearing up right on the spot.

jungkook made him feel so loved at all times.

"well, let's look for a job and pay for the apartment together, yeah?" he said, sitting beside the younger and holding his hands. "but you have to go to college when you have the chance. you're too smart to waste the opportunity."

"i'll think about it when i'm settled with you." he nodded, kissing the back of taehyung's hands softly and intertwining their fingers. "whatever the future is holding, i want to experience it with you by my side."

"i feel the same way, kookie." he smiled, his characteristic boxy smile making jungkook smile too and shower his face with kisses, both of them laughing happily. "let's take a shower so we can go to sleep." taehyung said, standing up from the bed and dragging jungkook with him.

their love was blossoming into something beautiful that would last for a long, long time.
