"𝕄om, you'll ruin your make-up if you keep crying!" taehyung whined, cleaning his mother's face carefully with a soft paper towel.

"how can you ask me to not cry when my son is getting married?" she sobbed, fanning her eyes with her hands and looking up. "you were just a baby two days ago! why did you grow up so fast?"

"there, there, mrs. kim." jimin caressed kwan's back, even though he was just as devastated as the woman and already cried multiple times during the day.

five years passed in an instant before everyone's eyes. one day they were celebrating jungkook's freedom and the other they were preparing themselves for the couple's wedding.

they moved from their apartment one year ago, when jungkook and taehyung finished college and started working as professionals.

taehyung became a pre-school teacher and he absolutely loved his job. the kids were so sweet and they adored him.

jungkook became a mechanical engineer and, even though he contemplated the idea of quitting multiple times because of how difficult it was, taehyung by his side encouraging him to not give up and helping him study day and night made him finish his studies successfully. he now worked in an office and he was payed pretty well.

"you guys are going to end up drying your eyes." eunji chuckled, fixing her blue dress while looking at herself in the mirror.

oh, right, eunji is now the couple's good friend. with the years she learned how to accept herself and treat others as they deserved. she was actually pretty cool and fun to hang around with, taehyung befriending her at the end —even though he was very hesitant at
first—.

"he's just so big now." yoongi whined, soomin hugging him and nodding in agreement. "i met him when he was a little boy. when did he get so big?" he cried, drying his tears with the back of his hand.

"oh, come here baby." jimin cooed, yoongi stretching his arms in his direction, the pink haired boy hugging him like he was the most precious thing in the world. and he was, for him.

"you're all getting me emotional, my eyeliner is gonna get ruined." taehyung sighed, the lady doing his hair giggling in amusement. she always saw emotional families at weddings, but this one was just too funny.

after a couple of minutes, the lady nodded and asked taehyung to look at himself in the mirror to see if he likes the results. the blond boy stood up and walked to the big ass mirror in the white wall, gasping slightly at his reflection.

he was wearing a white suit that hugged just the right places, his lips decorated with a pink gloss and his eyes staring back at him intensely, the eyeliner making his eyes stand up beautifully. the make-up was simple, but it made him shine and complimented his pretty features perfectly. his hair was curled delicately and sprayed so it stayed that way.

"i look so good." he breathed out, turning around to see himself from the back.

"you look so good!" kwan cried out, yoongi and jimin joining her, the three of them crying out loud and hugging each other. eunji rolled her eyes playfully, soomin quickly looking for a paper towel to clean kwan's face before she completely ruined her make-up.

"i can't believe jungkook is getting married." seokjin sighed, watching how a lady fixed his hair, the younger anxiously bopping his leg to calm himself down. "he was just a fetus when we met him. we practically raised him."

"he's still a baby." namjoon said, pouting slightly, looking at jungkook through the mirror. "look at him, he's so nervous!"

"even if he has his arm tattooed and he can beat us three only by himself, he's still so small." hoseok joined them, jungkook rolling his eyes at that. "is he really the one getting married today?"

"is it really that hard to believe?" jungkook laughed, thanking the lady when she finished doing his hair and standing up to look at himself in the big mirror on the wall.

he was wearing a black suit, which hugged his now muscular body —not too much, but he's been working out— and his brown hair was parted. he was glad that the air conditioner was on, otherwise he would be sweating nonstop. he was so nervous.

"you look so handsome, jungkookie!" jieun cried, looking at his son with a proud smile on her face. "i can't believe you're getting married, my sweet little boy."

"i can't believe i'm getting married either." jungkook mumbled, smiling at himself and fixing his collar nervously. "i literally met taehyung like, yesterday."

"everything feels like it happened so fast, even though its been so long." hoseok chuckled, seokjin already crying on namjoon's shoulder, who hugged him with a proud smile on his face.

namjoon and seokjin were already married, the ceremony being one year ago. they were just as in love as they were in high school, both of them being so perfect for each other.

"he's just a baby!" seokjin sobbed, breaking the hug with namjoon so he could walk up to jungkook and hug him instead. "we're so proud of you!"

"i left one minute and you're all a crying mess in here." yugyeom, jungkook's friend from college, chuckled, entering the room once again and walking up to them to pat jungkook's shoulder. "how are you feeling, jungkook?"

"i'm really fucking nervous." he admitted, jieun scolding him for saying such a bad word. "sorry. it's just... i'm getting married! i'm sure taehyung will be so gorgeous, i hope i don't mess my words up." he mumbled, the other people in the room laughing softly at that.

their proposal was actually pretty funny. they were in a nice restaurant having an expensive meal. they were both nervously sweating and laughing, until jungkook got the courage and finally kneeled down and proposed to taehyung, opening a little red box with a silver ring inside.

taehyung, shocked, opened his mouth wide and took out of his jacket a little blue box, which contained a gold ring inside. everyone at the restaurant thought it was hilarious and cute at the same time.

so there they were, months later, getting ready to join their souls officially in marriage, nervous as hell and their hands sweating in anticipation.
