The circle grew silent quickly as Harry's eye contact never broke mine. I gulped nervously, and stood up ready to leave. Harry's eyebrows etched together in clear confusion as he began to stand up as well. Before he could reach me I ran out of the house and began to make my way back to my dorm building.
The sidewalk was chipped and littered with red solo cups. I should have never went to that party, plus Anna is going to be pissed at me for going. Why do people even go to those parties? All they do is cause drama and messes. I heard shuffling behind me and turned around only to be met with a frantically running Harry. His curls fell into his eyes while he leaned over and gasped for breath.
"Jane why did you leave?" Harry regained his posture and stepped closer closing the gap between us.
I refused to speak and turned around continuing to walk to my dorm building. I couldn't talk to Harry, for one thing I just kissed my professor which means I could get thrown out and two I told him I'm not going to get back together with him no matter how nice that kiss was.
Before I could move any further, Harry grabbed my hand and twisted me around. I began to object but his lips were pressed against mine within a matter of seconds. His lips were soft and almost nostalgic. My eyes fluttered close as I tried to remember the memories in my mind with him. His lips began to move slower as he moved his hands around my waist in a sneaky manner. My memory regained and I pulled away before he could go any further.
Harry sighed slightly with his lips pulling at a frown. He mumbled in a sad tone, "Jane please I've missed your kisses more than anything,"
I looked up to meet his eyes and wish I hadn't. His eyes were full of vulnerability he looked like a broken love ridden man that just needed someone. His lower lip was bitten down on in desperation as he pulled me closer once again. I placed my hands on his chest and pushed us apart as well as I could despite his strong arms.
"Harry I already told you I can't get in a relationship with you you're my p..professor.. it's just wrong," I mumbled and ducked out of his grip and walked back to my dorm building. Luckily he didn't follow after, unluckily I had his class on monday.
-
It was monday morning, the birds were chirping and I was a mess. For once, I didn't want to go to my classes because I dreaded to see Harry, or I should really call him Professor Styles.
"Wake up sleepy head or I'm pouring a bucket of ice on you," Anna yelled in a sarcastic tone.
Fortunately, Anna forgave me and realized that I really was just being pressured into the game. She knew I felt pushed around lately and she apologized as well. I couldn't live without her, she's truly been there since the beginning.
"I don't want to go Harry's class," I groaned and she walked in with a glare on her face.
"Is that the Jane I remember? The Jane that skips classes because a boy she doesn't like teaches them?" Anna raised her left brow making me giggle lightly.
"Alright alright I'll go geez," I mumbled and climbed out of my comfy bed.
-
His door was open early as usual, I waited ten minutes until students started to walk into his room. Releasing a heavy sigh, I walked into his room and walked to the middle of the room taking a seat. His eyes met my gaze and I felt my insides melt immediately. I couldn't do this, I wouldn't be able to do this.
I began to stand up and leave when the bell tower rang throughout the college campus, "Shit," I mumbled and sat back down nervously.
Class was awkward as usual, Harry looked at me for nearly half the class. Luckily no one was suspicious but the look he gave me ran chills down my spine. The bell tower rang loudly indicating class was over, and I let out a breath of relief while standing up.
"Mrs. Carney, may I see you?" People began to look at me with wide eyes as I stood there shocked at his request.
I nodded and made my way down to his desk, his lips were pressed into a firm line. He was buttoning up his shirt sleeves, he then sat on his desk and clasped his hands together with an eyebrow raised.
"Well you needed to see me," I mumbled and looked down at my feet.
As the door shut indicating that all the students left, Harry got up off his desk and placed his finger under my chin lifting my head up to lock eyes with his.
"I'm er sorry for the other night," His eyes were filled with worry and it was like a match struck inside me, I groaned and began to rub my eyes.
/ flashback
It was friday night and the house was filled with red solo cups and giggling sexual teens. In the living room sat a group of five kids, two of them being Harry and Jane. A hat sat in the middle of the circle and it was Jane's turn. It was Jane's turn, she was smiling with excitement as she reached into the hat filled with pieces of paper with boys' names.
Harry rubbed his hands together nervously, he secretly hoped that Jane would pick his name. However he didn't know if his feelings were reciprocated with Jane. Soon enough she pulled out a piece of paper and swallowed nervously, she had gotten Harry. The two lovebirds stood up and made their way to the closet nervously, once the door was shut Harry bit down on his lower lip.
"I'm sorry you don't have to kiss me if you don't want to," Harry laughed nervously but Jane shook her head and made the first move.
She pressed her lips to his as he kissed back in shock, he never had expected Jane to kiss him. She kissed him deeper with each and every move she'd ever learned making Harry fall head over heels for the sweet girl.
Soon enough the two pulled away and walked out of the closet once the time was over. Jane's cheeks colored a rosy pink while Harry's hair was sticking up in every place. They made out for nearly the whole time, and neither of them knew that both of them had feelings for each other the entire time before.
/ flashback over
I opened my eyes to meet Harry's nervous ones and quickly straightened my posture. He tried searching my eyes for some form of information but I swallowed nervously and tugged at the hem of my shirt.
"Jane what the hell was that?" I sighed knowing I'd have to tell him sooner or later.
He grabbed my hand comfortingly and pulled me into a tight hug, and for some reason I didn't feel like pushing him away for once.
