JISOO
Coming home without Jennie is quite amusing. I hear no complaints about her professor, no over-sharing about what she and Lisa did. It's a peaceful drive home for me.
As I park my car, I noticed that my parents' car is already there. I shrugged it off and entered our house.
"Good you're here." Dad greeted as soon as walked into the house. I looked at him confused and walked to where he is.
"Hello to you too dad!" sarcastically I greeted as well and sat down on the couch.
"Jisoo, I want you to go to my office this Thursday. I'd like you to meet some of our business partners." I looked at him more confused and was about to speak but he beat me to it, "After your class of course. We will be having dinner with them." He concluded and walked to his study.
'What the fuck was that?' I asked myself.
I went upstairs straight to my room and groaned once my back hit my bed, thinking about what my dad just told me. We had a deal; we are not allowed to be involved in the company until we graduate but what was that about. Brushing my thoughts aside, I stood up and showered.
I'm rewriting my notes when my door opened. I didn't need look to know who it is but knowing my younger brother, he doesn't know how to knock.
"What now?" I asked. I heard him sigh and noticed that he's standing next to me. I stopped writing and looked at him confused.
"Can you help me study?" He mumbled "I failed my last quiz Noona. Dad's gonna kill me if he finds out." He said looking down. I hummed and nodded my head. We always helped each other especially when needed. I mean the 3 of us, sometimes with Kai oppa. We help each other because that's what our parents taught us.
V and I are on the floor in my room, papers scattered all around while I'm trying to explain the lessons that he did not understand.
"How's your photography going, V?" I asked once we finished the subject.
He smiled at me sadly and said "There's a competition next month. I wanted to try it out but one of Dad's friends is going to be one of the judges." he said.
"Does he know you?" I asked, "I mean does he know that you are dad's son?"
"I guess. I mean my last name is Kim and he probably would remember me since I broke his vase when we visited him." he explained, and I chuckled.
"That was years ago. Why don't you use your nickname 'V' and not Kim Taehyung. Nobody else knows your nickname, right? I mean, at least not dad's friends." I told him. He hugged me and kissed my cheek as we both stood up.
"Right! Why didn't I think of that? Thanks, Noona! You're the best!" He walked out of my room and I smiled knowing that I helped my brother with his dilemma makes me happy.
I went downstairs to eat dinner. It's just us siblings and no parents.
"Where are the folks?" Jennie asked and sat down next to me.
"They're out. They're flying to China tomorrow." Kai oppa told us. He groaned and sighed at the same time.
I looked at him confused and said, "Dad and I had a conversation when I got home."
"Really?" He asked and I nodded."Maybe he just wanted to talk to you and then went out." He said making me nod.
"Are you okay Oppa?" Jennie asked, "Do you even sleep?" She added and I looked at him, noticed that he has bags under his eyes.
"You look like shit bro." V said.
"Thanks V. I'm fucking exhausted and haven't gotten proper sleep because of work and I still have papers to finish." He complained.
