Finding What Was Lost

-My name is Kitty and that's Dani - I said pointing to the girl that Marley was helping, I'm feeling that they will be of great help I don't know why.

So, everyone introduced themselves. While Marley was finishing the bandages on Dani's foot, Kitty and I went to get more supplements and stuff. I left Sarah with Marley and Dani, at that very moment we were in the teachers' lounge in search of food until Kitty broke the silence.

-Are there just the three of you? - she asked me and I looked as if I didn't understand so she decided to explain better - In the group there's only you, Marley and Sarah?

-Well when Marley found me I was alone and so was she - Kitty looked at me dubiously so I continued to explain - Then one day we were looking for food, guns and stuff and we found Sarah alone so we decided to take her with us - I finished speaking and she nodded.

-In our camp there are about 20 people. If not more - she told me and I widened my eyes - That's why we're taking our food by truck - she said with a giggle.

-Oh so that's your truck - she nodded - Me, Marley and Sarah are going to Texas, but I'm not sure what to do - I said this a little sadly and she noticed as she was facing me - Yeah I don't know where my parents, friends, girlfriend are so it's kind of hard to keep making some decisions, I don't know if they're safe, I don't know if they're dead or injured - I finished talking and a tear rolled down my cheek, I wiped it quickly and I continued to look for food.

-Yeah I understand that, but I think now these people we found have become our family - She said and I nodded laughing as I remembered Sarah and how good it felt to make her laugh - I had an idea why you three don't come back with us to our camp? - She asked me and I looked at her without reaction-Look, you don't need to decide this now, we'll come back and then you can talk about this with Marley and then you guys decide, how about?-She said and I agreed with the idea that with each passing hour I was getting more excited.

After we got a few more things we decided to go back to our friends, we got there and Dani and Marley were talking and Sarah was on Dani's lap, when she saw me she stretched her little arms to me and everyone giggled.

-See, I said Rae was her favorite - Marley said, rolling her eyes in a playful way, making me giggle. I made a funny face at Sarah, making her giggle, which made everyone smile.

-As much as I'm loving this party, I think we have to find a place to sleep as it's already getting dark and it can be dangerous out there - I said and receiving nods in agreement - I saw a room around here where the windows are whole and locked with the door latch is working, I think you can go to sleep there - I said remembering the room that was here on the side of the infirmary.

-Okay by me it can be and that still gives you time to think about my proposal-said Kitty making Marley and Dani were with a doubtful face - Later I'll explain to you Dan.

After a while we brought some food into the living room and locked the doors and windows, there was a moment when Dani and Kitty were talking, and apparently it was about Kitty's proposal for me, then she had already put Sarah to sleep and the four of us were sitting in a circle on the floor when Dani spoke.

-Look I think Kitty is right, you should come back with us - she said that after she finished eating, I looked at Marley and she looked a little uncertain so I motioned for us to go outside to talk, everyone understood and Dani said-Relax we look out for mini Rae until you are back - I laugh at the nickname she gave to Sarah and it reminds me of Santana as she would probably give a similar nickname. In the hallway Marley and I were facing each other and I decided to break the silence.
