Becky Lynch
"mom, dad! I'm home! Sorry I'm a bit late, Liv and Bayley invited me for coffee" Becky opened the front door to their luxurious Estate. "Mom? Dad?" she looked around the big interior, no sight of her parents. She then noticed a note on the kitchen table. We are out on a date night, will be back tomorrow before noon
Mom,Dad xx"of course you are" she sighed and put the note down, "what it's like the third time this week!" she looked around the kitchen, no sign of food. "if it's not date nights, it's business trips, or work, or a night out with friends... You'd think having rich parents is fun, huh? Tch I haven't even spent a proper 5 minutes with them in months" she continued talking to herself as she looked in the kitchen cabinets for something to make for dinner.
"I mean yea, I have a luxurious house, But all that and I don't even have an allowance, you'd think the children of rich parents would have good allowances. Where as I get zilch from my parents. All my clothes, my phone, my shoes to even most of my meals, I pay out of my own pocket. I might have a part time job as a trainer at the wrestling school or my part time job as a bartender, but they don't pay the best" Becky continued complaining.
"of course we don't have food in the house! Because mom and dad go out for dinner, I swear mom hasn't cooked a meal in her life" she found nothing but spices and junk food in the cabinets. "chips it is then I guess" she found talking to herself stress relieving. Almost comforting.
"then people still look at me as if I'm some snob, like I'm some type of money addicted human. Everything I have, I earned myself, no help from 'mommy and daddy' ugh! Why do people always use those terms when they talk to someone who's parents are rich" she said frustrated, and opened the crisp packet.
She found herself walking out to the balcony. Ever since Becky was young she found a way to climb from the balcony to the roof of the house. She enjoyed it up there, especially at night, she could see the night sky and the busy city with dozens of street lights and lighten billboard signs.
Once she reached the roof she sighed the cold January air hit her face. She over looked the city, she wondered what their daily life was like, what their past was like. She had always been a curious one.
Her eyes then concentrated on one of the many skyscrapers. Metro Castle, stood out and spelt out large on the building roof. That was her parents company. Her father being the chairman of the company and her mother a wealthy model. Becky almost felt guilty eating the chips, she's seen how slim her mom is, her mom has always been strict with Becky's diet.
Her dad owned many businesses. Such as the Metro Casino, Metro modeling industry, Metro liquor and others. She never really knew the meaning behind the name Metro, it used to be her mother's last name before she was married. Maybe they just decided to keep the name active.
A sigh left her lips. Her parents wanted her to work in a office, said she'd be the first female heir of the company. She didn't want that though. Her passion for wrestling was far more stronger. Her parents didn't even know about her wrestling training and classes. Marine biology was also something she was passionate about, not as much as wrestling but she still enjoyed the idea of exploring sea life.
She tugged slightly on her jacket, pulling it closer to her for warmth.
Her mind traveled to her dream. Who was that silhouette? Did she personally know him? Did the dream mean anything? So many questions that can't be answered.
"why is this even bothering me so much? It's just a dream... Right?" she whispered in deep thought. "it's getting late, I should head inside, I don't wanna get sick" she spoke to herself.
