"c'mon, don't be ridiculous!" Becky exclaimed to her friends, Bayley and liv. They were currently seated at a coffee shop, after a long day at college. "it could've ment something! Repeat what happened again, maybe I can figure it out" Bayley said with a smile on her face. Liv on the other hand had a face of confusion.
Becky sighed before saying "I was walking somewhere, I'm not sure where I was but it was all faint and I couldn't make out my surroundings. But not to far from me was a silhouette of a man. He was tall, and as I inched closer, it appeared that he was wearing a black hoodie, and his hood was up, so I couldn't see his face... And as he was about to turn around to face me... I woke up"
"couldn't this be that romance where two people meet in their dream!" Bayley said, excited for her friend's sudden dream. "what? Ok Bayley your making no sense to me... How can you meet some dude in your dreams?" Liv furrowed her brows together, looking at Bayley. "it could happen! Don't doubt fate" the chestnut-brunette started getting slightly frustrated. "I think you've had to many fortune cookies" Becky referred to the many fortune cookie packaging papers on the table and the small papers with the fortune written on it.
"fortune cookies are not legit, you know that right?" Liv asked Bayley. "they are legit! Last week my fortune was that 'what you seek will appear right in front of you' and when I looked up, there before me stood Finn" Bayley said, now a bit in a day dream, due to the mention of Finn. "yea I agree to disagree" Liv pushed up her round thin silver rimmed glasses up.
"have you spoken to Finn yet? " Becky changed the subject. "What!? No! Are you crazy?" Bayley gritted her teeth. "just thought that since your so infatuated with the guy, you'd atleast be able to talk to him" Becky snickered.
"anyway hows college going?" Liv interrupted. "it's going ok, I have one year left until I'm done with college, then I plan on getting a full time job as a marine biologist" Becky held her warm coffee cup in her hands, still recovering from the cold winter.
"marine biologist?" Liv question. "yea like you work in an aquarium and work with sea life" Becky said. "this year is also my last year in college, I'm doing real estate, I already found a place that's willing to allow me to work with them, they also pay well... And you Bayley? You finished last year if I remember correctly" Liv spoke.
"yea business is going pretty well. I've made a well amount of money too. I plan on moving out from my parents house soon. Event planning is an oddly well paying job, and I've been taking a few courses for cruise ship entertainment " Bayley said proudly of her success.
" but anyway, I should get going, it's getting pretty late and my grandmother is probably wondering where I am" Liv sighed after she chugged down the last bit of her coffee. "same here, I have to study still" Becky rubbed her forehead. "I'll see you guys on the weekend maybe" Bayley waved and they all went their separate ways.
