Dean Ambrose
My surroundings were still messed up. But I could hear something, not sure what but it was loud almost as if an army were there. The woman's body was now not just her upper body but I could see her full figure. It wasn't a black hoodie she was wearing but rather a long back dress, that almost looked royal, she had a thin scarf that was held over her head for warmth, which I mistaked as a hoodie. She was about to turn-Dean's eyes shot open, heart pounding. It happened again. The dream happened again, just more detailed this time. "Why is this happening to me?!" he groaned.
Dean sat up and looked at his phone 2:35. "Seriously? It took forever for me to fall asleep, now I have to try so go back to sleep somehow" he sighed and laid back down.
He noticed Buddy was situated at the end of the mattress, curled in a ball, protecting himself from the cold winter.
He closed his eyes and hoped that he'd fall into a slumber once again.
_______
Dean's alarm went off on his phone, he groaned switching it off. He had managed to get an hours sleep in, the rest of the night he spent tossing and turning that Buddy had got annoyed by the movement and went to sleep upon the small kitchen counter top.
Dean sat up and rubbed his eyes tiredly. Weird he thought, I couldn't sleep all night but now that I am to get up, it's like the bed is begging for me to fall into slumber.
He let a heavy sigh drip from his lips as he brought himself to a stand. Walking over to the small cabinet in the room he took a pair of dark blue jeans out along with a black shirt and leather jacket to fend off the cold.
He combed his hair and brushed his teeth, freshening up for the day ahead.
Once done he walked to the kitchen and refilled his Ginger cat's food and water bowls. He ate a slice of toast along with a sip of coffee. He then gathered his needs and left the apartment after locking the door.
He had brought his laundry with so he could drop it off at the dry cleaners.
After giving coin to the laundry cleaners he told them he'd be back later today to pick up the clothes.
He walked down the street till he arrived at a small warehouse, he walked in and the smell of petrol poisoned his senses and the sound of steal tools clanging hit his ear. This was his work place.
He could see his busy boss working on afew paperworks in his office that's door was open. Afew night shift workers were leaving and two men swept up the bit of snow that had come in. The rest of the workers were either working on afew cars, or like him they had arrived for their shift.
Dean walked over to the notice board to see what his work was for the day. "Alloy wheel installation... And windshield repair..." he read. A sigh of frustration left his somewhat cold lips.
Dean had always gotten the simple jobs. Sometimes he was left to wash and Polish the cars before they were returned to the owner. He guessed that his boss had little trust in him, Dean noticed he never got to work with the car engines, he didn't even get to spray paint cars that owners had wanted customed.
He took off his leather jacket and hung it over a chair. He got to work when he heard the voice of the one he despised.
"Deanie! " he heard Renee call. He pretend to not hear. "Dean? Dean!" he heard her footsteps quicken to him. He groaned silently and exhaled annoyed.
"Renee! How are you? " he faked his happiness. "oh dean, I thought you were ignoring me" she smiled at him. Dean scoffed internally and held the eruge to turn and leave. "but we know that'll never happen!" she patted his cheek, which made him annoyed to the core, "anyway... I'm great, I bought a new shade of lip glass you see" she took the shinny pink content out of her bag and applied it to her lips, smacking her upper and lower lip together loudly.
"oh nice, the colour... Suits you "he didn't know how to get away from her. He had clearly lied about it suiting her, instead dean could see she applied many layers of it, that it had Smudge a little around her mouth and her teeth too. He held back a snort.
" I know right. Paige came along " she sighed," of course she bought her normal red and black lipstick "Renee wasn't to fond if the Gothic girl. Dean differed though. Him and Paige were practically bother and sister. They were both in the orphanage together for some stage, til he left. They met again years after she left the orphanage.
Renee knew nothing of dean, would she even care? Dean hadn't told her about his past nor his present. She didn't know he'd been living in a rundown apartment or the fact he didn't have much money.
"anyway the reason I came, was to tell you that... " she began. Please break up with me, please break up with me dean mentally hoped. "I'm home alone tonight..." she smirk, "we haven't done the dirty deed yet... Mind you, you haven't even kissed me, so why not make tonight the night" she popped the piece of bubble gum she was chewing.
He gulped. He didn't want this. He wanted to stay loyal to the women he would marry one day. And he knew Renee wasn't her. He he had promised himself he'd only do it after marriage. And he for sure wasn't going to marry Renee.
" um Renee, I have somethings on tonight... Maybe another time "he lied. Renee pouted and didn't waste anymore time and left. Dean sighed relieved and continued to work.
