Ara, now I know what happened!

And... we're back! It's only because my body has been saying "Motivation? Don't know her." lately. Ok— what this chapter was before this update/edit was just a really bad draft of a bad ending. Anyways, on with the chapter!

I went to sleep early that night, due to Oyakata-sama saying there will be a trial tomorrow for Kamado Tanjiro, the demon slayer carrying a demon oh his back.

Suddenly I was jolted awake in a dream, I can see a scene unfolding in front of me. Two girls, undoubtedly siblings from their looks, they were walking up a flight of stairs. That was, until the window next to the stairs broke and revealed a demon?

The two siblings screamed, alerting anyone in the house with them. Then two people who are undoubtedly their parents ran to them, when they saw the demon, the pushed both of the girls into a corner, then they were eaten by the demon. The older girl covered her younger sisters eyes, this was staring to look like what happened to Nee-san and I.

The only difference was, no Himejima-san that came to their rescue.

Then the younger red haired girl woke up, confused in my room then what happened suddenly slipped from her mind, making her live my life.

And then I realized that these were my memories, I was confused when I woke up the day after we adopted Kanao. What happened? Time traveling? Maybe Reincarnation? That was what I asked myself before a voice that definitely belongs to Nee-san said:

"We were reincarnated into this world, after we got killed in that life." It said.

I looked around in surprise, wanting to see my older sister at least one more time.

Then I woke up.

So that was what happened.

Were the only words in my head when I woke up.

After I woke up and got ready, I drank my daily dose of wisteria tea. Before training Kanao since it was too early to head to the Ubuyashiki estate.

Like usual, I had to oversee Kanao's training, insuring that she won't collapse because of exhaustion, I have experienced it one too many times, so I'm not risking it.

It is undeniable that she is as strong as she is now because of her inability to know her limits, but loosing a talented demon slayer to that is a big blow to the corps.

We already struggle with understaffing, since we are not officially recognized by the government, we have to keep it low, so no promotions to join us. Plus, who would join a corporation that battles almost immortal beings?

A crow flew in from our window, startling the almost asleep injured demon slayer.

"CAW! CAW! THE TRIAL OF KAMADO TANJIRO IS BEGINNING! ALL HASHIRAS, PLEASE REPORT TO UBUYASHIKI ESTATE IMMEDIATELY! CAW! CAW!" The crow bellowed.

After asking Mitsuri-chan if she wants to go to the estate together, we were now jumping from roof to roof and tree to tree.

I wonder what kind of fate awaits the Kamado siblings.
