The situation Cassie found herself in was one she could have never imagined. She recalled the first time her and Aizen ever interacted with each other. She could almost see it playing out in front of her...

Cassie groaned as walked through the file room and pulled out file after file as she usually did.

"How are you just going to tell me 'find what I'm looking for' and give me the first letter. That Shunsui is pressing my last nerves!" She huffed remembering her captain's more than vague order, "if I'm gonna have to take a wild guess, I want to find something interesting to read about while I'm stuck searching for the impossible!"

Cassie unsheathed her sword and could now feel more of the Spiritual Pressure in the room. She wanted the most concentrated amount in order to find something someone was very interested in.

Cassie kept feeling the same energy and followed it until she realized the emotion she was going towards. She stopped in front of the area, realizing that someone was actually there! Upon seeing her, he stopped his reading and looked in her direction.

The darkness of the room caused him to look much more intimidating than Cassie had expected, but she saw the white of his captain's haori and recognized him to be Aizen. She bowed and spoke with her head down.

"I-I'm sorry, I'm just looking for something!" She heard the papers shuffling.

"That's alright. I didn't think anyone else would be over here." She stood normally and saw his face now as he was much closer than before. His expression seemed to soften as well, but maybe that was just the light in the room, "You seem shocked to find me here. You couldn't feel my spiritual pressure?"

"O-of course I can! With my Zanpakuto it's just difficult for me to tell if it's active or passive." She tried explaining, but only earned a confused look from the captain.

"Excuse me?"

"I-I mean... uh, I can feel emotions essentially and if they linger in an area, it's hard for me to tell if someone is actually there or if it's just lingering from when they were there."

"Ah, that sounds like a difficult ability. Is that why your Zanpakuto is released?"

"Yes, if I don't then I won't be able to tell how anyone is feeling or how they truly feel when they speak about something."

"Your Zanpakuto can do all of that?" He asked.

"Yes, I drain a lot of my energy that way, but what can I do?"

He smiled at her, "I believe you can learn to manage it." Cassie looked at him, "I don't doubt that you do have to have it released all the time, but there's probably a way to have it released, but to keep yourself full of energy."

"Y-you think?" He nods, "I was trying to find a way, but without someone to use it on, it's difficult for me to know what's actually working."

"Then how about me?"

She looked at him. "H-huh?"

"I'm asking, how would you like me to train you?"

Her eyes went wide. "Y-you're a captain! I can't ask you to waste your t-time on me."

He chuckled, "that ability seems as if it could benefit the Soul Society greatly if you got it under control. I wouldn't mind helping you at all."

Cassie felt herself grow in excitement at his words, but her head went down in embarrassment. "W-well if you don't mind... then I don't think I can decline you!" He chuckled, "b-but maybe in return, I can help you carry back any papers you're taking out right now. It's not much, but I'll do whatever to repay you for this!"
