The day finally came for the assignments, once the trio was brought to Squad five, they were brought to a room where they sat and waited.

"What do you think they're having us doing?" Momo asked.

"Hell if I know. No other division is doing this." Renji said.

"Maybe this is a special thing in order to get in squad five!" Izuru said happily.

"As if! I never heard anything like that." Renji's words were cut short when the door abruptly opened.

Everyone turned stiff and Cassie walked into the room, she shut the door and walked in front of them.

"Alright you three, I need you to push out spiritual pressure at my word."

"W-we can?"

"Did I stutter?"

"No miss!"

Cassie smiled. "No need to address me so formally, call me Cassie." Cassie walked in front of Renji first, she then took out her Zanpakuto and held it parallel to her body. "You, go." Renji didn't miss a beat and released his Spiritual Pressure. He did so while Cassie's eyes closed and they began to see her Zanpakuto change color. One side of it began to turn a darker shade than it already was and once it was black as it could get Cassie told him to stop. "Alright." She went in front of Izuru and did the same and she repeated it one last time with Momo. Once she was done she sheathed her Zanpakuto and then let out a sigh. "You three..." Cassie suddenly smiled in Izuru's direction, "what's your name?"

"Ah, I-Izuru Kira!"

She giggled and grabbed his hands. "I can't believe how cute your energy is!"

"H-huh?"

"I'll explain it. My Zanpakuto can feel the emotions of others through their spiritual pressure. From there, it translates it into three categories; cute, nuisance or problem, named by yours truly. Problem energy is where I cannot trust someone because deep down they hold evil in their heart... However, I didn't feel that with any of you and Kira's was the best feeling to me!" Cassie explained while smiling at him, "mind if I call you Kira-baby?"

"U-uh, I guess that's... fine."

Cassie giggled and let go of his hands, she then went to Momo and smiled at her as well. "I got cute from you as well." Momo smiled, "Is it too much to ask to call you Momo-chan?"

Momo immediately shook her head. "Of course not!"

Cassie smiled then went over to Renji and her smile faded. "As for you..." Renji waited in anticipation, "I got a nuisance."

He grunted. "Huh?"

"See? It's like that, I knew you'd react like that all loud and childish."

"Well, when you call someone a nuisance, I guess that's how one would react!"

Cassie scoffed. "Whatever. I can still tolerate you, but you can be called Renji."

"I can be called? You didn't ask me like the others."

"Because I don't care," Cassie went to the door ignoring the steam coming from Renji, "you all can leave if you want to. If you stay, Aizen will stop by to explain your first duties."

"Understood!" Momo and Izuru said.

"...understood..." Renji grumbled after them.

Cassie smirked, "look at how disrespectful he is."

Renji bit his tongue as Cassie left the room and shut the door. Cassie let out a small sigh and left to go and see Aizen. He had been in another room awaiting her results. Cassie opened the door and found him patiently waiting.

"So?"

Cassie gave him an assured look, "my overall results were fine. No one is giving me a bad feeling or pushing out deceitful energy." Aizen nods, "however, Renji seems as if he'll bring hassle to the division if provoked in a particular manner."

"Can I assume that's not just a observation?"

"Yes, he was riled up by simple provocation."

Aizen almost laughed. "And what about the other two?"

"Izuru was as passive as they come and doesn't have any initial concerns. Momo, she..." Cassie paused, catching Aizen's attention.

Aizen hummed. "What is it?"

Cassie regained her focus, "as for Momo... there was nothing of any major concern... but, I'm sure it's fairly obvious her feelings towards you."

Aizen chuckled. "Did she know you found that out?"

"You know it's easy for me to hide my findings. People take very little into consideration when you're nice."

Aizen looked at her. "You sound upset."

"I'm not." Cassie defended.

"Really?"

Cassie nodded and began to head for the door. "It makes no difference to me whether or not someone has a crush on you. Your demeanor is usually indicative of that kind of emotion," she scoffed a bit, "I mean, just the other day someone asked me about the glasses you wear."

"Huh? What for?"

"They wanted to match you." She said with a smirk.

"Did you help them?"

"Of course! I have no reason not to."

Aizen couldn't help but laugh, "that confidence of yours is something I never thought you could possess."

"Who says I'm confident?" Cassie then gave him a bitter smile, "I guess I really did get better at hiding my emotions."

Aizen looked a bit shocked for a second, but he returned to normal and approached her, "you won't have to worry about anything." He touched her chin and ran his thumb over her lips, "right?"

Cassie bit her lip softly. "R-right..."

Aizen smiled at her reaction, "actually, I just thought of something."

"What is it?"

"We've never had a proper outing have we?"

Cassie stared at him, "when you say it like that, it seems like you're talking about work."

"Then you mean for me to refer to it as a date?" He teased.

Her face went red. "C-can I ask why you're bringing this up?"

"Well, I was just thinking it'd be nice of us to go on a date. We'll have our work cut out for us this month, so maybe it'd be good if we have a break before the days to come."

"Should a captain really be taking days off like this?"

"Perhaps I should say that to my lieutenant who disappears without a word for weeks at a time."

Cassie said nothing and turned her back to him, "if you wanna go on this... date, then you plan it. I'll just wait for you to be free."

Aizen smiled at her aloofness and let her leave without another word. Cassie left knowing Aizen had other work to be concerned with; but with her work done, she was going to take a little time to herself.

However, her mind was now occupied at the events Aizen was going to plan, she worried intensely about what would happen and if it was a date, that meant...

Cassie halted suddenly and felt her face grow warm. She rigorously shook her head and held her face, "no, no, no, that's not going to happen!" She huffed and continued to walk off to rest for the afternoon.
