TW; angst and milde gore
Devon's pov:
I saw my breath turn into a white fog because of the cold, I smiled when Michell came up to me and asked "So brother why don't we get going?" I nodded and we walked to the cafe, it was warm and had gold and green walls. We walked to a table and sat down.
I looked at the menu as I did Michell questioned "So are you and Richie together yet?" I blushed and hid my face, I blurted out "not... yet". He laughed people stared at us in confusion.
The waiter took our orders and talked for over an hour our food and drink had come and we were finishing up, we were ready to pay and split the bill.
We left and were walking we were about to split ways when a scream was heard and 4 people came out from the shadows I felt tense and got ready for a fight, they were fast and I couldn't fight them...
Michell shouted out "You're after me, leave my brother alone.. and ill go with you" I shook my head no weakly but Michel was not backing down, I coughed up blood and felt my dizzy my arms got tied up and they left...
With my brother, I felt myself tear up Edens voice cut through my thoughts "Let's get back to the guild and then we can get Michell back"
