Chapter Six: Homebound

-Kirishima's POV-

I woke up to a space next to me. I shot up when I couldn't find Kat in the bed, looking around the room and still not finding him. I climbed out of bed and into the bathroom, still no sign of Kat. I was starting to panic, looking everywhere for him before I ran down the hall and into the living room. There were a few people in there but I overlooked them seeing as I was preoccupied with finding Kat. I turned to go into the kitchen and ran into someone, them falling to the ground.

"Oi, watch it dumbass." Kat said, laying on the ground where he fell.

I picked him up and held him close, burying my face in his neck. He tensed when I picked him up at first before relaxing a bit against me.

"Hey kiri, you ok? You're clinging to him like a lifeline." Shinso asked, looking concerned on the couch with Denki.

I let out a slightly shuddered breath before walking into the kitchen with Kat. I set him on the counter, still hiding against his neck. I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm clingy (You think Kiri? You think.), though it's common to want to keep special people safe.

"Dumbass, you good?" he asked.

"Ya, I got scared when you weren't with me this morning." I said, standing up and rubbing the back of my neck.

"Ok shitty hair. Eat something before you starve." he said, climbing down and handing me a plate of food.

I sat down at the table and Kat sat next to me, playing a game on his phone. I ate the food he gave me and it was delicious, it almost made me cry. It was so good. After I finished I went and washed my plate when Mina peaked into the kitchen.

"Hey we're making an announcement, gotta come to the living room guys." she said, running off to the living room.

"Come on Kat, I think I know what this is about." I said, picking him up bridal style.

"Put me down idiot!" he yelled, squirming a bit.

I walked into the living room, sitting on the couch with him in my lap. Everyone paired up in different places, Shinsou and Denki standing in front of everyone. My blood started to boil when I saw Izuku and Todoroki come in and sit on the sofa nearby. Todoroki was sitting there with Izuku just smiling at Kat and I, smug as ever.

"As Mina told you guys there is an announcement we need to make." Shinsou said.

"That is how this tends to work, eyebags." Kat said, getting a glare from Todoroki.

"Anyways, in about a day we'll be heading to our respective domains. We wanted to let you all know so that you can all pack important things and prepare." Shinsou stated, bored.

"We won't be able to see each other?" Sero asked, looking confused.

"You'll be able to visit from time to time, but we have to help you travel since you can't on your own." Mina stated, playing with Sero's hair a bit.

"As I was saying, you all need to pack things that are personal. Basic things are going to be there already." Shinsou stated.

I rested my head on Kat's shoulder while the others went over acceptable items to bring. Kat leaned against me and I wrapped my arms around his stomach and rubbed his sides. After a couple of minutes everyone dispersed and went back to their rooms, as well as Kat and I.

-Bakugou's POV-

I went back to the room I shared with Kiri. We went out yesterday and got a bunch of cardboard boxes for everyone. I started to put some of my favorite things into boxes, including my box of shells. I had been out on the balcony maybe once since I met this shitty haired dumbass since he loved to stare at the water below us. I didn't mind the water much anymore, it seemed to calm down when nearing our room. He helped me tape up all but one of the boxes that I packed, marking them as well. I had about three boxes of small stuff I was planning to bring with me.
