Part 14: At Sea

You were at sea, it was dark, the sky was filled with stars.

'Hey! Y/n you always have interesting stories why don't you tell us one!'

'Kaminari, why would I tell a story?'

'Late night bonfire?'

'We can't make a fire'

'Then a karaoke-slash-story telling night?'

He stared into your eyes, giving you the old puppy eyes and you caved in.

'Fine...'

'Yay! Guys! Y/n's gonna tell us a story!'

Everyone-- except Bakugou-- huddled around you as you stood up and your scales turned black and white dots on them, mimicking the sky.

'Let's see... This is one my father made'

They "Ooh"-ed and you took in a deep breath.

"There once was a ship that put to sea,
The name of the ship was the "Billy of Tea"
The winds blew up, her bow dipped down,

The rest of them joined in once they noticed the repeats of the parts. Bakugou was just standing leaning on the railing of the ship.

'Yep, it's about my dad and mom, when they were at sea and traveling before me and my siblings were born'

'Awesome!'

'Y/n you have an action packed life'

You smiled shyly and turned your wings back to normal colors. In awe of your wings going through all the shades to go back to normal.

'All right it's late, We're all gonna take turns with staying awake and steering'

They all agreed and you went to the captains cabin. You grabbed your map and opened it, spreading it fully open.

'Show me all the surrounding islands'

Then the pictures of islands near where you guys are appeared.

It was late, once again, you couldn't sleep. You went up to the main deck and told Kirishima to get some rest. He walked away groggily and you went to steer the ship. You stabbed the wood with your sword, keeping the wheel in place. You flew up to the crow's nest and just looked out to see nothing but darkness.

'Quiet night...'

Then you heard the wood creaking, You looked out and saw Bakugou, going to the wheel and taking out the sword throwing it to the side. You rolled your eyes and flew back down, right behind him.

'You didn't have to throw my sword'

He looked at you buy just looked away from you. You picked up your sword and put it back in the sheath attached to your belt. Even though Bakugou did look away, he didn't look away for the reason you think. He looked away because he remembered what happened at the picnic.

'What? Is the little prince mad?'

'Shut up you damn-'

'Damn what? Damn dragon? You need a knew insult Bakugou'

You said as you just flew to the bowsprit. You stood on it, holding on to one of the ropes, to keep balance. You looked to sea and saw an island. The sun started to rise and Bakugou just looked at you.

'Damn it...'

He thought as his cheek turned a slight shade of pink and slapped himself.

'Don't even think about that Katsuki...'

He thought to himself and just kept staring at you. Meanwhile down below in the crew's quarters, the other four were thinking of more ways to get you and Bakugou together.

'Mina, do you think this is the right time though?'

'What do you mean by that Kirishima?!'

'Mina, he means that we're looking for Y/n family, do you think it's a good time for her to be in a relationship-'

'Yeah, what Sero said and I mean with Bakugou? He's a hot-head one wrong move and BOOM! He goes off like a bomb!'

'Okay! You three, how about after we find Y/n siblings-'

'If we find her siblings...'

'What?'

'Mina you told us she want to find the truth, and the truth is they might be dead'

The room went silent. It wasn't a peaceful one at all, this silence felt heavy and like you were dragging dead weight around.

'...Okay then, we'll pause your plan to get them together, and start helping out Y/n a little more'

They all agreed and went back up to the main deck once they felt the ship stop.
