Part 11: Sibling Bond

You were laying down on your bed, zoned out as little flashes of memories came back to you. Mina, who was sitting at your desk and keeping a calligraphy pen balanced on her nose.

'Mina...'

She looked at you and the pen fell of her face.

'Yeah?'

'Ya know how Kirishima said to tell you guys if I remember anything form the kidnapping?'

'Yeah...What'd you remember?'

'Well, remember when I first got here and I told you a bit about me'

'Yeah I do'

'So about my siblings...'

You take a deep breath and Mina speaks up.

'Y/n, don't tell me if your not comfortable...'

'Nah I need to get this out already'

'So basically my siblings, Kenji and Tatsuo, Kenji is 3 years older then me, Tatsuo is 2 years younger, by now they would be like 18 and 13, when I was kidnaped I told them to tell me what happened to them but they said they didn't know, and now I'm started to remember little things about my siblings, their favorite places, Tatsuo's favorite books, Kenji's favorite food...'

She "mm-hm" and let you continue talking.

'And now I just want to go out and find them, but I can't because I'm stuck babysitting Prince explosion over here, and I just wanna make sure there okay, I don't know...'

'How do you know that they're even alive?'

'I don't know...But I remember something my mom said...'

'That is?'

'She said..."Dragons have a special bond, and that bond is stronger when blood related. So if you ever feel like someone in danger or you feel like something isn't there anymore, go and find them" but then she made up this whole story that goes with it but sometimes it doesn't make sense...'

'Can you tell me it?'

'Yeah sure, so the story starts off with 2 siblings'

'One day in a kingdom far away lived 2 dragon siblings, One day the eldest sibling had a gem and that gem was one of the purest thing in the land, so he gave it to his sister as a gift'

"Here you go imoto-san"

"Thanks onii-san!"

'From everyday on she wore the gem as a necklace...One day his sister was in the forest walking around and exploring...then a came an avalanche of dirt and wood and rock...Yet the brother knew something was wrong, so he told his mother'

"Okaa-san! Where's imoto-san?"

"She's out exploring the woods, why?"

"I feel like she's in trouble..."

'The mother brushed it off, saying he was delusional, yet she felt his sister was in danger. So he did as his instincts told him and went of into the forest. He searched and searched, until he had almost gave up hope. He saw a trail of blue dots following to a place where trees had fallen. He looked and looked, and then he saw his unconscious sister. He flew and flew back to the palace'

"Okaa-san! It's Imoto-san! Help her! Please!"

'The mother took her everywhere and yet no one could help her...They had almost given up hope of helping her until the gem started to glow, It glowed and floated towards the sister and then it dispersed into a million pieces. And once she had breathed in the air, she awoke from her unconscious state. Then from that point on the two siblings bond has been strong ever since'

'So that's the story...'

'Woah...Amazing story'

'Yeah it is...Anyway back on topic, I just wanna go and find them and make sure they're okay, I don't care if they don't recognize me or if I find out they're dead, I just wanna make sure I know the truth...'

'How about we talk to the queen about this, I'm sure she'll understand'

'Yeah...I guess, but when should I tell her because after that attack she doesn't let me leave Bakugou's side for anything'

'Yeah but how bout you just tell her the truth'

'Okay'

'How bout you do it in like two hours?'

You grab your little clock that was on the night stand and looked at the time.

'Sure two hours sounds good'

For the next two hours Mina helped you prepare what you were gonna say to the queen. The two hours had passed and you entered to thrown room.

'Guard Y/n has arrived'

You bowed and stood in silence.

'What do you need?'

'Queen Mitsuki...I have never told you about my pass, have I?'

Everyone who was left in the room was stunned by everything you just told them. You looked up and took a deep breath.

'And that's why I need to go out and find out the truth about my siblings, even if that mean finding out they're dead'

You said and try and your breath hitched. The queen looked at you, she didn't even look like she was breathing as her ember eyes stared at you. She sighed and turned to look at her husband and then to her other side to see her son.

'Fine...You can go'

'Thank you Queen Mitsuki-'

'But I have a few conditions'

'Anything'

'First- If your siblings are still alive they will be living here, second- Take my son and his guard with you'

'WHAT?! Why should I go with her?!'

'You never leave the castle, so your going with her'

He groaned and leaned back, pouting.

'And lastly- You will write me letters at the end of every week and tell about your progress, now those are my conditions, do you accept?'

'Yes, of course'

'Good, now I'll give you a ship you will take to travel'

'Thank you ma'am'

You bowed and she dismissed you. You flew back to your room and saw Mina pacing back and forth before running to you.

'So? What happened?'

'She said she'd let me go!'

'That's great! I hope you find them!'

'But she gave me three conditions'

'That are?'

'One- That if if siblings are alive they'll live here, Two- you guys and Bakugou are coming with me, Three--'

'WHAT?! Yay! We can help you find out what happened, okay and the third?'

'The third is that I have to send her a letter at the end of every week, updating her on our progress'

'Okay...'

'So right now, some people should be loading up a ship for us and she said we leave tomorrow'

'So when you telling the guys?'

'Well I was hoping you could tell them...'

'Sure, but do I tell them everything or like half the story?'

'Tell them whatever you want'
