(A/N: Nani?? A story that's not a ship? I know, wild. But I wanted to do something with only one member, so.. this is here. Just our boy meeting his YouTube counterpart. Also, +100 points for the Bo Burnham fans.)

(Narrator's P.O.V)

"Trying to be funny and stuck in a room, there isn't much more to say about it."

I was wrapping up a call with my mom about what I was currently doing, after a long time of putting off recording. She hung up after realizing that though, so I had no choice but to go through with it.

"Can one be funny when stuck in a room?" I mumble softly to myself, saying it in my 'rich' voice, so I felt less alone, as it could be sometimes.

And then I put on my headset. The familiar shapes and blurs coming into focus to reveal the VRChat main hub. I'd been here so many times that I'd lost count by now, which normally isn't something that would happen. The mirror section was always my favorite in the hub though, as I'd sit there for hours, staring at my avatar while doing every single impression or accent I was able of replicating.

I start this routine again, by standing in front of the same mirror, and speaking in my regular voice.

"Alright.. how can we be funny today..?"

"Try making faces!" one very familiar British voice began.

"No, try telling jokes!" I just said, as Narrator's iconic deep voice as if he was going to start an argument. Only thing is, I'm arguing with myself here, like a madman..

And I was about to continue my little ramble, but I suddenly heard the same old Narrator voice from behind me, not from me myself.

"Well, well.. look who's inside again."

I don't turn around.

I can see who's there already from the mirror. It's me, but with my natural hair colour, in my face reveal clothing. and a lot taller. It.. it doesn't make sense at all..

"Went out to look for a reason to hide again? Well, well, buddy you found it."

He places a hand on my shoulder and swivels me around so I'm looking up at him. He has a smile on his face and an empathetic look in his eyes, and he just seems.. comforting. I go to open my mouth, and gasp as I go to speak but then-

"Now come out with your hands up,"

Another booming voice, causing me to look right like my Narrator counterpart had done. I'm outside, still in the virtual world, as I recognized where we are, but the wind is actually blowing in my hair as if it were real. And as much as I begged it not to be..

"we've got you surrounded!"

The flashing red and blue lights reflecting on one side of my face were too real to be not there.
