(Eddie's P.O.V)
It's 9PM. And Josh was trying to make sure I can have a reasonable amount of sleep without having a hallucination like what had happened yesterday. And the day before. And the day before that.. But Josh sighs, knowing he won't convince me.
"If you insist you'll be fine, I'll leave ya be. Night, Eddie."
With that, Josh goes to his room. And I do the same, climbing into my bedsheets and closing my eyes.
*time skip*
I wake up, and see a big black figure standing over me.
I put the blanket around my head, screaming for Josh, where he runs in, but stays in the doorway.
"Eddie! What's wrong?!"
I peek over the blanket and see Josh, not realising water streaming down my cheeks.
There's somebody standing over my bed! Please.. help me!"
But instead of doing something, Josh gives me a confused look.
"What are you talking about? There's literally no-one there. Trust me."
I put the blanket back quickly, pointing at the black figure.
There's someone there, Josh! I mean it! There's something.. there.."
Josh walks over to me, phasing through the figure like it was nothing. And seeing that, it makes my sentence falter into silence. Was there nothing there after all?
(Josh's P.O.V)
Eddie was shaky when I ran in to check in on him. He kept insisting someone was there, standing close to him. So, I walked to his bed, sat on the other side and placed my legs over his blanket.
"Trust me.. you're safe. Just let it all out."
I wipe Eddie's tears with my thumb, giving him a weak smile. In response to it, he wraps his right arm around me, giving me permission to rest my head on his shoulder.
And I take that opportunity. I rest my head on his shoulder, my eyes immediately flickering shut. It seems petty, but I fall asleep, where Eddie does the same with ease, feeling relaxed himself.

FanfictionI wrote all these stories a good 3 years ago. They aren't the best, and are cringe. I'm keeping them up though because they seem to still get interaction. Was a pleasure writing though.
