Sams pov:
I woke up from the screaming from downstairs.Mom and dad fighting again.Deenas picking me up  for school so I Need to get ready.

I choose a white t-shirt with a flannel and jeans.

*beep beep*
Deenas here.

I grab my bag and go down stairs.

"Bye Mom and dad"
"Bye honey have a good day".
I rolled my eyes.

I walked over to deenas car.

I've known deena since I was 10 years old.were best friends but I've had a crush on her since last year.

"Hey" deena says and smiles.
"Hi deens" I reply.

"Mom and dad fighting again?"asked deena.

"Yeah,it's all the time now".

"I'm sorry, do you wanna sleepover Tonight?"

"Yeah sure" I said with a smile.

At school

Deenas pov:
"Ok were here see you at lunch?" I asked.

"Yeah of course" Sam smiles at me.
I smile back.she walks off to class.

Sams been acting kinda different lately probably because of her parents fighting all the time.

I walk to my locker and grab my books.

"Hey ladykiller"

"Jeez Kate your scared me" I said

"Sorry,so whats your first class?"Kate asked me.

"Um,math".

"Uh I have science,well see you later ladykiller".Kate says and walks off.
I walk into class and see Simon so I sit beside him.

"Hey si"

"Hey d how's it going" he replys.

"Good,you?"

"Fine,are you going to Kate and sams cheer practice after School?"he asks me.

'Yeah, actually I think I have band practice".

"Oh ok,maybe after?"

"Yeah sure" I reply

"Miss Johnson,Mr kalivoda am I interrupting something?"asked Mr.lane.

We shake our heads.

At lunch.

Sams pov:
Finally lunch I'm starving since I never got any break fast this morning.
I see deena sitting with Kate and Simon.
I walk over.
"Hey" I say while sitting beside deena.
"Hey sam"they say.

"So deena you going cheer practice?"Kate asks deena.

"I have band practice so probably not,but I'll try make it".

I make a sad face.kate looks at me weird.
"Soooo deena how's josh?"Kate asked deena.
"Good why u ask?"
"Just curious"
"Ok"deena says slightly winking at her.
Kate rolls her eyes.

As I continue to eat my lunch my leg starts bouncing.
Kate Simon and deena are still talking.

All of a sudden,deena puts her hand on my knee which makes me blush and my leg stop bouncing.
She doesn't take her hand away instead,she rests her hand there.

*ring ring*
The bell goes.
