Katelyn's P.O.V

The walk to the moshpit didn't take long only about five or ten minutes. When I finally reached the meeting place, where everyone was there except Calum, Ailsa-Mary and Luke. "Hey guys where's Cal and Lalsia?" I asked sitting on a fallen tree next to Greg.

"Cal has rugby practise, Luke's doing maths tutoring and Ailsa is working I think. They should be here soon." Jim answered, kicking his feet up onto the create that's in the middle of all the deck chairs and the big fallen tree and acts like a coffee table.

"Right okay." I smiled taking a bottle of 'Coke Life' from the table and downing a quarter of it. "So what did you get for everyone else to get mortal on, Jim?"

"Strongbow, Stella and WKD for Ailsa-Mary." He listed as he put everything from the Tesco bag onto the upturned crate. Soon after Calum, Luke and Ailsa-Mary joined us and started passing the bottles round and taking swigs of each bottle then passing it around again. Well everyone except me and Ailsa-Mary, she sat quite content with her WKD and me with my 'Coke Life'.

"How's it been?" Mikey asked, pulling himself onto the log.

"Yeah been better, parents are still together but silently fighting all the time, both younger siblings have the flu which means I can't see them cause I might catch it and be in ICU or high dependence again." I huffed.

"Doors always open!" Everyone chorused making me smile.

"I know guys thanks." I grinned. "Oh yeah, dumb and dumber I had to bullshit an excuse for you since you never turned up to geo detention!" Looking at Jim and Greg.

"Sorry!" Jim grumbled.

"Cheers my dear. What was the excuse then?" Greg asked.

"You both had SQA PE detention, so I'd advise to turn up tomorrow for the detention."

"Which one?" Jim asked, "Geo or SQA?"

I sighed, Geo you idiot! The PE one was an excuse so Twist didn't hunt your asses down."

"Ah, okay!" Jim smiled. We kept chatting till Luke pulled out his guitar and starting to random songs at our request, artists ranging from Blink 182 to Niki Manaj to ACDC. I also helped Ailsa-Mary out with an idea for her and Lukes six month anniversary, I suggested a mix CD of songs that mean something to the both of them then little voice memos saying random stuff.

I also got a text from Ashton again saying he'd figured out the mystery maths homework and attached a picture of him holding it up as proof he'd done it. I sent back a short congrats and no attached pic. Mikey was the first to leave after getting a call from his mother, he was soon followed by Jim, then Greg, following suit was Luke and Ailsa-Mary. It was just me and Calum left to tidy everything up and hide the booze.

"How was practise?" I asked while putting a bottle of Strongbow down a hollowed out tree.

"Yeah good, got the season starting up again so just practicing for that really." He nodded we continued in an akward silence and about five minutes later we'd hid everything and we started walking down the path that led back down to the pavement the silence continued. It's so weird for Calum being quiet in any cerium stance. I stopped walking.

"Somethings up? What is it?" I asked my whole being full of concern. A few minutes passed as he looked into space. The he broke down in tears grasping out for me as I enveloped him into a massive hug. "Shh, shhh your okay Cal, your okay." I whispered calmly rubbing circles on his back.

We stood like this for a few minutes as he relaxed. "I've been offered a fully paid scholarship for my sports at Wellington uni back in New Zealand." He whispered as I let goof him so he could dry his eyes.

"That's amazing Calum!" I smiled wrapping my arm around his shoulders.

"Yeah but I'll miss yous guys and mum, dad. Mali!" He ranted.

"When did you get the letter through?" I asked.

"This morning."

"So your gonna go home take a shower. Get into bed and get a good night sleep. And we shall discuss this again tomorrow in the library during our free period, okay?" I asked. Well ordered.

"Yes Sargent Major Osborn!" Calum giggled doing a piss take salute.

"Hahaha very funny Cal. Now come on it's starting to rain!" As we walked home we disscussed Sam Smiths album and how freaking amazing his voice is!

Calum's house was a couple streets before mine so we parted at his front gate, shouting our goodbyes as he walked up the garden path. My house was only five minutes away but it felt longer due to the rain getting heavier and the winds slowly picking up. Finally I reached the house, walking in I reached the house, walking in I took off my jacket and boots and put them into the downstairs cupboard, then going into the kitchen to take my medication that my mother had kindly laid out for me along with a glass of water to wash them down with and also a not saying,

'Hi sweetie, we've gone up to the hospital nothing major! Just your brother and sister aren't improving. So drop me a text when you get in so I know your safe and sound. Also your dads gone to the pub so don't wait up!

Love mumx'

Hmmm seems fair enough, I finished the glass of water, rinsed it out and put it on the draining board. Then went upstairs, changed into my pyjamas and took my bandanas and curbys out. I crawled into bed and got settled down after texting mum saying I was home safe and sound also I love her loads then putting it onto charge. Slowly I fell asleep as the medication took affect.
