Lukes P.O.V
I stare at Mickey in shock, we'd came from such different families; mines being deemed as 'perfect' by lookers in, older siblings who are always there for support, parents still together and have been since high school and any mention of dropping out was countered with a two hour lecture.
But Michaels family was completely different; his was deemed 'a broken home' by lookers in, no siblings there for support or protection, his parents spilt when he was younger and his mum just waltz in and out of his life and his dad was too busy with work to give him the time of day and if Michael wanted to drop out they would probably wouldn't give two breadsticks.
Michael looked up and quickly wipes his eyes, "Sorry about this mate," he sniffled, "God I must look a right wimp right now!"
I take a seat in front of him, "Hey mate you're okay, yeah? I'll stand by you whatever the hell happens and I'm sure everyone else will too, you're our little punk rocker!" I smile and pat his shoulder, slowly standing up I walk over to one of the hollowed out trees and pull out a bottle of Jack Daniels, "Now some refreshments?" I smirk and pass the bottle over to him.
"Well well, my rebellious side must be rubbing off on you little penguin!" Michael chuckles at the ridicules nickname from god knows when, he takes the bottle and then downs a massive swig.
Katelyn's P.O.V
I walk into the lunch hall and take a seat at our normal table, as I wait for everyone else to arrive I pull out my notepad and start to draw a little, the only hard part of it was trying to find a clear bit of space to draw on as most to all of the pad was filled with random songs that Calum, Luke, Michael and myself wrote; some were actually pretty good and somewhere just weird and silly.
I stopped drawing when I felt someone peering over my shoulder, I turn around to see Ashton standing behind me, in full uniform today unlike yesterday, "Mind if I sit here?" He asks shyly pointing to the spare seats all around the table.
"Yeah sure, make yourself at home!" I smile, he takes a seat and places his tray on the table and starts to slowly eat as I pack my pad away and pull out my packed lunch. We eat in silence till Calum sits next to me along with Greg and Jim.
"So this is the famous Ashton?" Jim asks, laughing slightly as Ash goes a shade of scarlet.
He nods his head, "Yeah I guess I am!" he whispers as he takes a bit of his pasta bake, "You are?"
"Jim Flander, pleasure to meet you Ashton Irwin!" He replies in a stupidly posh voice, "And next to me is Greg Tae!" He points to his left where Greg sat picking at his lunch. Greg gave a slight wave to Ashton.
"Lovely to meet you all!" He smiles and starts to eat his lunch. Ailsa finally joined us and sat cuddling into my side as she picked at her cheese and ham roll.
"Wheres thing one and two?" Calum asked as he pointed to the spare seats, one in-between Ailsa and Greg and the other between Ashton and myself. Ailsa began to cry, letting out chocked sobs.
"Whats up with her?" Greg obnoxiously asked, pointing to Ailsa as I she were an animal at the zoo and he was the spoilt six year old.
"Shut up Greg!" Ailsa mumbled as she looked up slowly to face us all. Greg mumbled a quite 'whatever' before returning to his phone, probably sexting his girlfriends elder – and in his words 'well fitter'- sister.
"Wanna say over text?" I ask quietly, a few minutes later I get a text through revealing what was making Ailsa so upset.
"Greg leaned over my shoulder and read the message before I had a chance to hide the phone, "Fuck! I'm sorry!"
"Yup..." Ailsa trailed off, looking around the table. "Go on, tell 'em before I explode."
"Penguin and Fairy are a no more." I sigh as Ailsa nodded her head sadly.
A few minutes passed as everyone on the table took in the news, then Ailsa said, "Ooh, I've got a Snapchat," She quickly unlocked her phone.
Ailsa's P.O.V
I opened up the new Snapchat from William – He's one of the most popular guys in the school-, Opening it caused me to drop my phone in horror and let out a little scream. "Luke made out with Michael!"
