"I can't believe that your brother isn't here!" Mito's voice screeched as she paced the room of the bridal suite. "The man always makes things about him." She huffed.

Hashirama stood outside the door with a tired expression on his face. "I've sent Y/n to find him." His voice pleaded for Mito to understand. "If anyone can find him, it's her." He admitted it as he glanced over to see Madara scowling. 'It's true.' He mouthed to his dear friend.

Madara crossed his arms, "He's likely passed out at home," he turned his head away, "I told you not to have your-"

"I know!" Hashirama shouted, praying Mito didn't pry. "She'll get him here."

Madara ignored Hashirama's response and stormed back to the suite the groomsmen were sharing. Hashirama continued to plead with Mito to understand and be patient. The wedding wasn't set to start for another couple of hours, but Tobirama was missing for the photos. One of the bridesmaids and mentioned something to the photographer, and Mito overheard. It was over from there.

No one really knew how the man had gone missing. The bachelor party was the night before. Everyone was a good time like most men do. Then, suddenly, no one could find the younger Senju. His phone was going straight to voicemail. This morning the phone was ringing, but the man still hadn't answered.

After the initial phone call to Izuna from Mito, since Madara had refused to answer her call, Hashirama had rushed to find Y/n. While Tobirama had a date for the wedding, Hashirama couldn't tell you where the woman was at the moment. He doubted she could be of any help.

Y/n knew Tobirama would be in one of two places. The second was unlikely, but she would find him at his parent's grave from time to time. However, she doubted that would be where he was today. Tobirama and Y/n both had one place they tended to go when the world became too much to bear.

The winter breeze blew, billowing the thick skirt of the velvety blue gown Y/n wore. While she wasn't part of the wedding party, Mito had asked for Y/n to wear one of the accent colors chosen for the affair. Madara had scoffed the moment he heard the request. Why? The only color aside from black and white the men wore was the same blue of the dress Y/n wore. So while she matched Madara and Izuna's vest and tie- she also matched Tobirama.

Mito had chosen the blue to accent the bridesmaids silver dresses. In contrast, Y/n's dress caught all the attention compared to the women standing on the altar beside Mito. Naturally, it was going to be scandalous. Everyone liked a good scandal at a wedding. Hashirama and Mito had concocted this plan from the beginning in hopes of bringing Tobirama and Y/n together.

The idea was that when others saw photos of the two that they would assume they were a couple. Tobirama's date? She was wearing something frilly and short, even in the dead of winter. It was bright, another fashion taboo, a peachy color that accented her dark complexion perfectly.

Standing at the tree line, Y/n frowned at the man that stood twenty feet away. His hair was frazzled and messy. Even from so far away, she could see how tense he was. His jacket was missing, but his vest was on. Hands shoved into his pockets as he faced the horizon in the distance. Y/n couldn't help but smile softly as she looked at him. Her heart wasn't where she wanted it to be, but for today, she could show him where it longed to reside.

Taking slow steps forward, she tried to calm her pounding heart. The warmth from the fur shawl around her shoulders felt sweltering as she approached the handsome man. Hearing the steps, Tobirama cast a look over his shoulder. At first, his lips tip upward into a barely-there smile. Then, just as quickly as it appeared, it vanished. The frown on his lips made Y/n frown as well.
