"Yes mom, I'm eating fine. The tents are safe and no Mom! There are no mosquitos or snakes here. We aren't living in a slum area Mother"

"Ok Mom, I have to go now. Take care love you"

It was early in the morning when you got startled by your loud ringing phone. Your mother was calling to ask about your well-being. She was concerned about where you were staying or what you were eating. After you told her that Jin is taking absolute care of all of you and you're living just fine, she took a breath of relief.

You went back into the warmth of your blanket and decided to sleep for a little while longer. The hike yesterday really drained you out and your legs literally felt like they would break into two anytime soon.

Taking two more hours of sleep, you finally woke up with the shuffling outside the tent. You walked out leaving a still sleeping and snoring Aria in the tent to see what was that about. When your eyes fell on a lean figure coming out of a distant canopy of trees.

"Good Morning specs'' Jungkook greeted you with his usual  bright morning bunny grin.

"Where are you headed to this early in the morning?" you asked him, raising the eyebrows at the said male.

"Exploring nature. Are you ready for today's adventure?" he asked excitedly. He finally got a companion who was willing enough to climb up with him. Yoongi and Aria had always supported his decision but when it came to actually supporting him in going somewhere, they'd always back out.

"I don't think I'll be able to walk today. My body is sore" you answered wincing at the slight pain in your legs and calves.

Jungkook gave off a smug look. His mind going to all the not so PG places hearing your words and all that left his lips was a stoic laugh and smirk on his face.

"Oh Com' on Y/N. It wasn't that hard yesterday" he said with the usual smirk plastered on his face. Your eyes went wide when you realised what he meant. You threw a displeased look at him along with a few leaves from the ground while also attempting to punch the living lights out of him but to your avail, failed miserably.

"It will be fun. Plus a lot of people have refused to go to this place and it's really quiet and peaceful" he said, thinking back to how he went to Yoongi asking if he'd go but he threw a pillow at his face dismissing him straight away. And don't get him started on Aria. She is just a lost case.

"Go ask Aria or Yoongi. Or better, take your makeup bag with you. She'll give you company along the way" you shot back at him. His face turned gloomy and he looked displeased at the mention of Suzy's name being mentioned.

"Alright" he said and walked away from you. You furrow your eyebrows at his monotonous response. It almost looked like he was hiding his pain behind his words. It pained you to see him hurting and for the ungodly reasons, you wanted to go with him. If it meant spending some more time with him, you're willing to risk it all.

You diverted your eyes to the side where you saw a very tired and puffy Jin coming through with a pan on his hands.
