Josie's pov: today Jess and I are flying home to meet my family
Jess: josie I'm nervous what if they don't like me
Josie: Jess you fine they'll love you
Jess: okay
He said nervously as we get off of our fight
We drive for a few hours and we get there
Mom: hey honey
She hugs me and hugs Jess too
Mom: you must be the one that has my daughters heart
Jess: I suppose that's me
We go in and take our stuff to my old room
Jess: your mothers super sweet
Me: you sound surprised
Jess: I was considering your so mean to me
Me: oh shut up
I say lighting punching him in the chest we laugh
Mom: suppers ready
Me: okay
We begin eating
Mom: so how's trigger and the horses
Me: good they are doing really well
Me: where's dad
Mom: he is on his way late per usual
Me: okay I giggle
Mom: so jess how's your ranch
Jess: it's really good josie here is making it easier everyday see I'm not much of a cook thank god she can
I look at him and smile he taps my leg
Jess's pov:
I hear the door open
A large man walks in
Josie : dad
She runs up and hugs him
I stand up and go to shake his hand
( her fathers name is mike and her mothers is Ann )
Mike: you must be Jess
Me: yes sir that's me
He shakes my hand and nods his head and says you saved her
I look at him in counfusion and sit back down to eat
Time skip
We ate dessert and then her father wanted to show me somthing josie was helping her mother in the kitchen washing dishes and such
Me: what did you mean I saved her mike
Mike: she was going through I tuff time being all alone out there and stuff she almost came home but then she met you and she was happy all the time and always had that amazing smile on her face she was back to her normal smiley self
Me: I could say she did the same for me
Mike: here take this
He hands me a small box
Mike: in this box is a ring and I'm not saying you have to purpose anytime soon but when and if you do use this ring it was her grandmothers
Jess: I plan on asking her in a at the next pbr
Mike: that sounds very nice treat her right son
Me : I always will sir
Mike : please call me mike son
I smiled
Time skip to bedtime
Josie: what did my dad say
Me: he just said that he liked me and that I saved you
Josie : you did jess I was going through a hard time and you were there and after I met you ever I had colour again it was all back to how it was and I had happy
Me: I love you josie
Josie : I love you too
I give her a kiss and we lay down I put my arms around her and we go to sleep
