As he got back home, Draco realized he was shaking. He made a strong cup of tea to soothe his nerves and sat down on his settee. Realistically, he knew that his chances of finding a witch willing to donate her eggs was slim. For the next hour, he agonized over what would be the best strategy to maneuver this great task. In the end, he decided on honesty and sincerity. Draco poured his heart and soul into composing the letter and after many scratches and revisions, he was finished.

Dear whom may it concern,
I understand that what you are being asked of may sound absurd. However, please grant me a couple of minutes of your time to hear my story.
I am a 25 year old man with a love for potions, muggle and wizard books, international cuisine and quidditch. I have a stable source of income and a trust that will more than handsomely provide for my child with anything he or she needs and desires.
But more importantly, I have a lot of love to give. When I love someone, I love with everything I have. I have always wanted someone that I could take care of, guide, and nurture through love. I, more than anything, would love to be a father. A father who spends lots of time with his child to play hide and seek, to read muggle and wizard novels, to talk about whatever he or she wants to talk about, to enjoy good food with, and to create our own family traditions.
The only hope I have for the child is to grow into a humble, independent and empathetic individual, healthy in mind and body, capable of thinking for him/herself, and most importantly, happy.
I know that raising a child is the biggest blessing and responsibility. I do not take this lightly, and am not trying to bring one into the world just to secure an heir. I am committed to not only doing right by him or her (i.e. I have and will continue to educate myself on parenting and child upbringing), but also providing an environment that the child can thrive in.
My circumstances do not enable me to rely on other traditional and nontraditional methods of conceiving.
It would mean the world to me to be given this gift. If you can bestow me this biggest blessing, I vow to cherish and protect it with all my heart.
