Karl's POV
I couldn't help but smile widely at this. I mean, Y/N, she genuinely seems like a great person and I'm excited to get to know her.
I flopped onto my bed and stared at the ceiling, contemplating life as one does.
"Wait-"
"I was so caught up in helping the girl, that I forgot to get my own honking groceries."
"Karl you idiot." I mumbled, giving a light smack to my head.
"Oh well, I've got enough to tide me over for now."
And with that, I laid my head against the pillow, closed my eyes, and drifted off to sleep.
Y/N POV
"You're back early." I said in a confused, yet already knowing tone.
"Bestie you're not going to believe it." She said in a rather annoyed tone.
"I WAS FLIPPING KICKED OUT OF THE PARTY! Why you may ask? BECAUSE I COULDN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LIGHT SWITCH AND THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL!" she explained.
Now I have no idea how that was possible, but Jess is Jess so er..yeah it's to be expected I guess.
"Oh? That's...unfortunate?" I didn't exactly know how to react to that, so I ran upstairs right after I said that leaving a pissed Jess to mope around the living room.
I plopped down into my bed and curled up into myself, holding onto my blankets for dear life, and closed my eyes slowly drifting off to sleep.
