I woke up to the sound of a yelling Jess. Not exactly the best wake up call, but it's still a wake up call nonetheless. She was probably arguing with her so called 'friend' over the phone. You know. The usual. I guess it was about time I woke up anyway, I was thinking of hanging out with that Karl boy today, maybe get to know him more. I jumped out of bed and rushed into the bathroom, having myself take a quick shower. Once I was all set with that, I ran over to my room and opened up the big closet. '𝑺𝒐 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎, 𝒚𝒆𝒕 𝒔𝒐 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆.' After about 10 minutes or so, I finally decided on an outfit. A fitted black turtleneck, with a red and black plaid miniskirt over it. I decided to accessorize a little bit and slid on some rings along with a beaded necklace with a rose imprinted on the center of the rectangle charm at the end.

When I finished up, I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and texted Karl.
Y/N Hey Karl, goodmorning!
Karl Y/N, hey! Goodmorning to you too! :)
Y/N Ty! So hey uhm, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to meet up today and ya know, hang out, get to know each other more? I get it if you're busy, or if you don't want to. It's completely fine, no worries. :)
Karl Yeah, no, absolutely! I'd love that actually! :)
Y/N Great! Meet me at the park at the corner of Chance Street! That okay?..
Karl Yeah ofcourse! Sounds great, I'll be there in 20 minutes tops, seeya there! :))

'𝐇𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐡! 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐲, 𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐨 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.' I ran downstairs and out the door, giving a quick "bye!" to Jess as I passed through. I ran a few minutes down the street and neared the park seating myself at the nearest bench. The scenery was nice I must admit. The fall leaves were carpeting the floor. Different shades of yellows, oranges, reds, and browns dancing along in the air as they fell from the trees, the lamppost gave a bit of character to the bench, and the way the air was filled with complete silence, apart from the occasional songs of a bird. It was all so peaceful. I closed my eyes and relaxed, waiting for Karl's arrival.
