morning after

The sun shone straight into y/n's eyes.
"Good morning sleepyhead" a familiar voice said. It was Joel. Y/n opened their eyes, looked around in an utter confusion before they realised where they were. They were still in the lounge, in the same couch, and still on Joel's lap.
"Wait have I- slept here all night?" y/n asked still a bit affected by the morning light.
"Yes silly. You fell asleep last night and I didn't want to wake you up. You were sleeping so peacefully and I couldn't get myself to wake you up." Joel answered with a smile.
"But how did you sleep then?" Y/n asked in a confused tone
"I slept sitting up" he said and demonstrated how he had been sitting with his body leaned against the back of the couch while y/n was in his lap. Although he had the back of the couch as support for his back and neck, it must've been quite uncomfortable.
"Aw, you could've just awoken me ya know" y/n answered with puppy eyes. "I hope you slept good though"
"Hey I had a dog earlier, and she always used to sleep on my lap for 7 years - I think I'm used to it. In fact it can be quite soothing." He answered as he gently got up.
*aw, he really just slept like a beanbag for ME? This man is unbelievably... charming* y/n thought for themselves as they studied Joel's movements towards the other end of the couch where Elin was still asleep, and so was Aleksi.
They had both also fallen asleep in the couch, meanwhile Tommi, Niko, Olli and Joonas had stayed up and eventually made their way to the comfortable beds.
Joel put his finger to his mouth to gesture to y/n to be quiet. He had a joyful look on his face, like a small boy just about to do a prank on their little brother.
"Hey Aleksi, time to wake up baby" he said with an ironic voice
Aleksi moaned quietly as he briefly woke up. He didn't open his eyes though.
"Of for fuck sake, i guess I'll have to use the quick solution." Joel said and cracked his neck, first to the left, then to the right. "Watch this." He said as he sat down next to Aleksi.
"ALEKSI, YOUR HARDWARE HAS CRASHED" Joel bursted out and Aleksi quickly arose as if he had been carried up from a laying position, to a sitting position.
"Oh fuck me, what does it say?" Aleksi bursted out as he tried to make sense of the situation.
"Good morning brotha" Joel said as he smiled in amusement to the sight of the panicked Aleksi.
"JOEL... you nearly gave me a heart attack bro." Aleksi said as he made a pouting face, then bursting out in his cute laughter.
"You gotta do what you gotta do" Joel said and shrugged his shoulders.
Y/n laughed at the bizarre sight of the two of them.
Elin awoke just as Joel and Aleksi had laughed for 1 minute.
"What the heck is going on" she smiled, put her hand over her eyes to cover them from the light of the day, then slowly sat up.
Aleksi and Joel both joined into a combined "gooooood morningggg"
"This is what it's like to live with us" Aleksi said as he punched Joel's shoulder.
The sound of the two of them probably was so loud that it awoke the rest of the band cause not more then 1 minute after; Joonas, Niko, Olli and Tommi entered the room. All of them looking as tired as ever.
"Ah good morning babes" Joel said as a mock towards the look of their tired faces.
"We only have this budget coffee shit but I guess any caffeine will do. And I think there's one redbull in the suitcase just for you Niko" he said as he handed over the redbull to Niko.
"Oh my man, saviour of the day!" Niko said as he cracked it open.
