A/N (shoutout to ⬆️ giving me an idea for this chapter!)
-(Y/N) POV-
As we continued reading the book, good ol ercole came over with his minions.
"I see! Spewlia! fish number one and number two and- oh... what have we here? (Y/N)? Hahaha! This is too good! Looks like your little losers group CAN get weirder! Oh- oh my goodness this is hilarious! How much did you pay them to be your friends (Y/N)? I mean not even gross sea monsters could befriend a DISGUSTING person like you without some form of payment!" Wait..... Sea monsters? Must be an expression. I thought
"Hey! That's enough!" I was SOOoOoOOo angry until I heard Alberto say that. I looked up to see his fists clenched, looking straight at Ercole. (We're going to pretend that Luca didn't use this line in the movie)
"She's amazing! And plus, at least none of us are catfish! Y'know, those dirty bottom feeders with two sad little whiskers!"
"Y-You know what?! Cicco!" He called
"Yes..." he sighed in response.
"She seems to not know the truth about these guys, why don't we play in the water a bit to cool off?" He sarcastically suggested while him and Cicho pushed... sorry SHOVED luca and Alberto in the water. What I saw amazed me! Ercole wasn't kidding! They were sea monsters! I smiled with joy but it could only last so long. I noticed they had a look of shame on their faces.
"You must think we're freaks now, huh?" Asked/stated Alberto.
"NEVER!" I exclaimed. They looked at me with a mix of happiness, hope, and confusion.
That all changed when I dove into the water.
"DISGUSTING! Another freak!" Ercole yelled as him and his minions ran off to bully some other kid.
"Y-you're a- " Luca began.
"A siren? Yeah... you guys must think I'm no good...."
"Never! I'm actually AMAZED that there's a good siren!" Alberto exclaimed.
"Really?" I asked, unsure if this was a joke or not.
"Yeah! Plus... nothing could stop me from liking you...." He mumbled the last part so I was unable to hear but Luca sure did and he was 'oooooh-ing' and making fun of him.
-Albertos POV-
OH MY GOSH!!! She's a sea monster like me!!!!!!! This gives me a better chance at getting her! Oh wait.... I dissed on her for like half an hour bc I was being inconsiderate! Wow Bruno! You should've spoken up!
"H-hey (Y/N)?" I asked to get her attention.
"Si mi amigo?" She responded... GOD I loved when she spoke Spanish, I found it cool and......... hot?
"I'm sorry about earlier and saying things about y'know...." I said, guilt laced in my words.
"Don't worry about it! I know how other sirens can be..." she said with her prize winning smile.
"Now let's keep looking for some cool stuff!" She said in excitement.
-No POV-
As they were still seeking to find something interesting Alberto came across a flower, a beautiful one at that. He then got an idea. He walked over to (Y/N) and put it in her hair.
"THERE! Found the perfect match for this beautiful flower!" He exclaimed with a wide grin. (Y/N) blushed and said
"Thanks! It really is great....OH! I have something for you!" The night when she got here, she couldn't sleep so she thought |since she was also a GREAT mechanic| she fixed up the Vespa a bit so that it wouldn't fall apart anymore, she had more ideas for improvement for it but it'll have to wait. As soon as she showed him it, his eyes lit up as he engulfed her in a large bear hug!
"ITS AMAZING!" He shouted with excitement.
"I'm glad you like it! But with a few more works here and there AND a new paint job.... It'll be the most AMAZING Vespa in all of Italy!!!"
(Y/N) shouted excited about her plans for the vehicle.
