Soichiro Yagami POV:
The Head of the CIA wasn't joking around when he said Y/n would find a way to find out L's true identity. She out right demanded he meet us in person and it wasn't even suspicious. She's a great agent there's no doubt about it.
"I'm sure that request must be hard for you L-" I started.
"That wasn't a request, that was a demand." Tali's voice raised over mine turning heads back in their original direction.
"Yes, but-"
"The thought had already crossed my mind, after all I did sa that I trusted you all." The room went silent, lost in thought itself then the computer screen was turned to face us all revealing a message.

Please keep what is about to happen a secret between the nine of us.
I would like to meet the seven of you whom I trust in person as soon as possible.
Before that I would like the seven of you to go outside the police building and decide once and for all if you truely do trust me or not.

I looked around at all the faces in the room then stuck on one, Y/n had a small, slightly noticeable smirk plastered on her face. She looked over at me and nodded and the two of us walked out of the investigation room, it was up to the rest of the team if they wanted to follow or not.

I could see Mr Yagami smiling from and out of the corner of my eye.
"Well done y/n, you just got us one step closer to figuring out who L really is. Thank you very much." Mr Yagami praised.
"Its my assignment, if given an assignment I am to succeed 100%. No failure, that's the expectations for me."
"You know failing is a part of life y/n, it's ok to fail sometimes."
"Not for me it is, besides, successes plays a huge role in this world too." I could tell he wasn't happy with my response but it was the truth. Everyone has always had high expectations for me and if I where to even break them, I don't know what would happen to me. That's why I don't let emotions get in the way. He held open the door to the outside building as I walked through, half a minute later the rest of the men did aswell.
"Why does he need our help. There's only seven of us. He has solved every other casein his own why does he need help now? He will most likely send a stand in or something t o meet us in stead of himself, it's not like we would ever know." A man that I hadn't really noticed begire immediately started talking once we were all out of the building with the door shut.
"Yeah that is possible." Aizawa said while thinking to himself.
"I believe L! I think we can trust him and besides I don't see how we can really solve this case without his help." Matsuda spoke up.
"I agree." Mogi shared. Mr Yagami and I had been facing the other direction to the team the whole time, the not so busy street gave us not only privacy but a great area to think.
"Since the beggining L has always needed the help of the police. Perhaps we should think of it more like, he has been waiting for this oppertunity to happen all along." Mr Yagami's words momentarily caught me off guard but thinking about it there was a reason why his theory could be true.
"But why would he do that?." Matsuda questioned.
"There were a number of people on the Task Force who always distrusted L from the start. Once we got started there were detectives resigning left right and centre. Along with that, classified information was leaked which gives him good reason not to trust us."
"So he was waiting for the Task Force to get narrowed down to only those investigators he could trust."
"And to do that he need anyone who wasn't totally committed out!"
"If we're working with that guy I'm leaving the Task Force! Don't worry I won't follow you, I'm not interested in finding L." A man with short black hair turned around and started to leave, I could never really remember his name but he seemed sure on the fact that he didn't want to be working with us any more.
"Well... I think we can trust him. I'd be willing to co-operative with him on this investigation."
"Yeah me too."
"Y/n?" Mr Yagmi had turned back around to face the group before but I remained starting off into the night sky.
"If your asking whether I'm in or not I'm quite sure you already know my answer." With that, we all went back inside to inform Ryuzaki of the news. Not long after that we found the six of us at a quite familiar hotel, well familiar for me because it was the hotel I was currently staying in. Mr Yagami was the one to prepare which hotel I Went to so when he saw the name his face went into shock looking at me. I don't make a big deal out of it so he hopefully gets the idea but I do know that I will need to explain something's to him later. We were told to split into two groups and time our arrivals so we come 30 minutes apart. Mr Yagami, Matsuda and I were the first group to arrive, then Aizawa, Ukita and Mogi. We were to all meet up at Ryuzaki's door by midnight. We made it to the assigned floor and not so much to my surprise it was my hotel floor. Matsuda and I followed Mr Yagami as he counted each room number.
"303...304...305...here." Mr Yagami looked at me eyebrows raised as I started at the number plate on the door then look ling at the door next to it reading 304. I can't believe it. I've already met L! I know what he looks like. But why, why would he agree to meet us if he knew I already knew who he was. That was the only thing that didn't make sense, but I guess only time itself knows.
30 minutes passed and the sound of the elevator rang. The 'ding' from the elevator had simply become background noise at this point. Three men walked out of the elevator spotting us, immediately walking over. Mr Yagami raised his hand to the the door but hesitated, he looked at me a mixed face of concern and confusion. I nodded my head assuring him to go on. One knock, Two knocks and silence. Then a familiar monotone voice spoke through the closed door.
"It's unlocked, please, let yourselves in."
My eyes widened slightly as it was at this point overly confirmed that I already knew who L was. Mr Yagami grabbed onto the handle, his face serious and concentrated, pulling it down and pushing the door open.

Yayyyyyyyyyy it's happening guys. Don't worry I'm getting there, L and Y/n parts will be comming quite soon now. Also appologies again for any mistakes or anything that doesnt make sense. Also if there is suddenly a character names Tali in stead of Y/n Please let me know. Its a habit of mine to write Tali instead of y/n. Anyways happy reading little ones and enjoy.
