KEABETSWE MOKWENA AND THE REST OF THE JAMILA STEVENS CAST WRAP FILMING AND RELOCATE TO SOUTH AFRICA

The filming of Jamila Stevens has officially reached its halfway mark as the cast and crew wrap filming in the states just before the end December.
Filming had officially been relocated and is set to continue for another three months in the home country of Keabetswe and her character Jamila.
To refresh you all on the character of Jamila Stevens here's a little rerun of her time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jamila Stevens is the oldest daughter of the late Erik Kilmonger ( Michael B Jordan ) and Jasmine Muzembe ( Nathalie Emmanuel ) and the older sister of Nala Stevens ( Sofia Wylie ).
The best friend to Davina Robinson and Fernando Gomez, the well known marvel comics duo are set to be played by High School Musical: The Musical: The Series's Dara Reneè and Cobra Kai's Xolo Mariduena. The whole trio we'll be first seen when the show releases in January of 2022.
We first meet the Stevens sister in the flashbacks of Academy Award winning movie Black Panther that released in 2018. Before Infinity War we see the two finding about the demise of their father alongside their grandmother, Eriks mother, Naledi Stevens ( Jasmine Guy ).
It is revealed that in between the events of Black Panther and Infinity War the Wakandan royal family reached out to the remaining trio out of mere guilt for their actions and eventually they become good friends with Jamila and the rest of her family without her knowing the truth about what happened to her father and grandfather.
In Infinity War we see T'challa and Shuri ask for her help and she gladly accepts. Even though the team lost, Jamila and what was left of her family survived and lived on during those five years.
In Endgame, five years later Jamila has graduated college with phds in majors such as physics, engineering, medicine and many more. We see her visiting Natasha Romanoff, the two grew very close over the past few years especially with Jamila studying in the US. The girl also became good friends with the last remaining Avengers who survived. She often tagged along with Natasha on missions or worked with Tony and Pepper at Stark Industries.
Fans really enjoyed watching Jamila bond with the last living Avengers despite her heartbreaking reaction to Natasha and Tony's deaths.
Now that you're up to date, Jamila is set to appear in WandaVision which is set to release in 12 days.
Keabetswe said this in a recent interview about what's to come in her upcoming show
"I recently finished reading the script and I honestly am in love with what we all came up with. I'm honestly so excited to give more light on Jamila and her story. I'm really happy that we managed to put some unanswered questions into the show and some new characters, maybe a new trio. Heh and I really see myself in her not just because we're basically from the same place I just really relate to her in the small ways that really makes me love her and who she is as a person so I hope you all fall in love with her as much as I do."
Kea has been revealed to be part of the writing crew behind Jamila Stevens. We do trust the girl on her word about her upcoming show.
Jamila Stevens is set to follow Jamila returning to her home country due to a family emergency. That's all we've gotten so far but we'll reveal more when we find out more.
