Keabetswe lied on the bed of her hotel room and flipped through the channels.
The girl had wrapped up early today, last thing she did on set was a fight scene and if she was truly honest, the stunts had drained her.
Just as she reached for the phone to order some room service but she was cut off by the sound of the Skype ringtone as she was looking through the menu.
She groaned before putting down the phone and opened up her laptop completely and answered.
"Hey Josh." The girl greeted with a smile. "What's up? Isn't it like 8AM in LA right now? You never get up this early."
"I've had trouble sleeping recently so I decided to call you." Josh told the girl. "I was hoping you could also maybe give me a teaser on 'we aren't the broken ones' just a little teaser? Please, for me." Joshua pleaded with his persuasive puppy dog eyes.
"That's not fair, you can't use that look with me!" Kea argued.
"It always worked before, I might as well try." The boy teased.
"You'll just have to wait until the 26th like everyone else Josh." Kea told the boy who huffed in disappointment. "Can I ask you something?"
"Of course."
"I should've asked when you first posted it but I've been so busy ... stop rambling kea ... any way, I wanted to ask what the whole hospital post was about? The one you posted a couple weeks ago." Kea asked the boy who's smile dropped.
"It was just a scare. Nothing to worry about." He assured.
"Are you sure? Are you feeling better at least?" She asked him as she fiddled with her fingers.
"Kea, don't worry I'm perfectly fine." Josh assured again making the girl smile slightly. "How's filming going?"
"It's amazing really, I'm just a little nervous for tomorrow."
"What's happening tomorrow?" He replied.
"From tomorrow we're filming some of the more emotionally heavier scenes and I don't know if I'll be able to do them or how I feel after. I mean you know how I get after these hella deep scenes and shit." Kea told him.
"You as a solo dancer scored 2nd in the world for contemporary dance at the dance World Cup, 3rd in the world with your dance team as the captain in 2019 and you we're invited to the Oscars for your debut movie. You're doubting yourself? Kea you are the most talented girl I know. You've been juggling the busiest schedule probably known in actor history and you've done it all with a gorgeous smile on your face. You'll be amazing I know it. If you feel down or weird after those scenes and you want to talk, I will listen okay even if it's 3AM in LA." Joshua said making her cheeks turn a rosie shade and a huge toothy grin magically appear as she wiped away a happy tear.
"You've always been good at speeches. Thank you, though it really helped" She sniffed before a text from Dara popped up on her phone. "I really would love to talk more but Dara, Xolo and Madi are going on a drive around the city and they want me to be their free of charge tour guide around my home country. So I gotta get ready."
"Don't worry. Talk later?" The boy asked.
"Of course."
"Bye Kea."
"Bye Josh." The girl said before blowing a kiss to the boy on the other side of the screen before she hung up.
The speech he just gave reminded her of why she fell in love with him in the first place.
