Stitching Snow by R.C Lewis

Genre: Si-Fi, kind of fantasy

Disney movies, all share similar qualities, for example they all have pretty dainty princes and over time they have changed and walah came Brave, Rapunzel and Frozen. Great movies with strong characters. That's now, but back then we got the - my personal opinion- crappy movies. Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, complete failures in my world. Both have dainty princes that really don't do anything but sing and look pretty and are lead to a sleepy- dead state. In the end both are awaken by a kiss. Like seriously.

But then boom there is Stitching snow, best version of snow white I have read. She is a fucking badass.

She lives on a mining planet (Thanda), its full of men. It gets a little lonely all these raging men, what can snow white doooo. Just sitting tinkering with dronesssss.SORRY, I got a little side tracked, but you see that's why my reviews are the best ever, I write what I think. Not what people want me to write, all professional with big words and such.

Okay for real this time. The main character, Essie, for fun- since there is nothing better to do- wrestles the half drunk men and tinkers with her 7 drones (their drones not men). These drones have names like tick tock and Cusser because he curses( cusses if you're English), mind you. Essie in my opinion is a little strange, they are obviously not human but close. Like they do things called body hopping, its something that you can do and if you do it then you are like inside the persons body, you can hear their thoughts and feel their emotions. Essie sadly can't do body hopping without touching them. Along with the weird body hopping thing thatI will never comprehend, Essie really doesn't have many emotions like seriously she is a brick.

In the beginning of the chapter you can tell Essie is hiding something. Something about her mom. Blah Blah. Then like 5 page's into the book you meet Dean, a nice teenage boy. As soon as I heard teenage and boy I started shipping Essie and Dean. He crash lands on Thanda, he says he is searching for a treasure. Essie after being very cautious befriends him. But then dun dun dunn. He captures her, because all along the "treasure" was her, and after all the help Essie did, she helped him fix his ship and gave him a place to stay. Ugh so ungrateful.

And so Essie struggles and tries to fight him unfortunately her fighting skilled were limited to drunk men. She could compare to Dane. Then his plan unfolds, and her past is made clearer. Like Snow White, Essie did run away from home, to another planet. Everyone believed she was captured so her dad, a king of some planet decided to jail a bunch of exiles, one being Dane's dad. So Dane is all like " if I give you back then I get dad back".Genuis.

These people after a lot of issues make a plan. They will sneak in Essie, and get the exiles out. Perfect.

Although things don't go as planned, the crazy king, evil step-mom wanting to kill them. Issue, issue.

Read it, a hella good, Dystopia-Sci-Fi- Fantasy story. And it's all in one book. Not unnecessarily long like a four book series.
