Quotes:
"Not that complicated. I think I'm in love with you, Essie. But I also think you're not ready. I shouldn't have sprung it on you like that, so I decided to take it at your speed."
"If we go ahead with it...if you say yes...how do we tell out children that we fell in love after I kidnapped you?"
"Dimwit Essie queen Essie, he said. Essie mother proud."

After reading the book I can conclude that the summery of the book did not do it justice. I truly felt that it was not interesting, but I craved to read it, because the cover art got to me. But after the second time of seeing it on the shelf's I took it. I got to say I'm impressed with it. A pretty good novel.
Okay lets see, it was interesting. For starters I have never read an intergalactic novel, not the biggest fan of Sci-Fi. I tend to skip the parts when Essie begins ranting about electronic what-not's and such. Although if you happen to be a fan of Sci-Fi it would be a good choice to read.
I feel like the book could have been better, truly. The ending left you with questions, and not everything was described well, it just left you to guess. The concept of Body hopping was confusing, it was kind of thrown in there, and it did not go that well in the story. It only came up like twice.
Essie was an interesting character, very badass chick. I did like how she was described physically, white hair like the snow, and blue eyes like the sky. But she was genetically made to look like that. Although she did give up quickly when Dane came to save her. I guess I would to thought. There relationship was interesting to say the least. See to understand a relationship you need to understand the people in it. Dane wasn't greatly expressed, he was just there. Essie was a brick, she was very emotionless. I didn't understand her much. But it did make her relationship with him interesting. All of a sudden LIGHTBULB she realizes she loves him. Oh and he said he would wait for her. How cute.
The one moment when she decided to stop being a prisoner in the castle and start doing something, was the best, I thought there would be a lot of more action. Essie ditched the baggy clothes and got fit to be a princess. Then Dane and her started traveling around, they go captured, then visit her dad, step-moms an asshole tries to kill them.
Also if the goal was to kill the king, and everything is fixed, why didn't it get fixed earlier. The ending just fell flat. It was too simple. But it was meant to be a single book series so its okay. The story line was interesting, but I did not see how snow white fit. But of course that's entirely up to the author on how she wanted to portray the fairy tale into a sci-fi.
