Quackity rolled over onto his side under the blankets on his bed, trying to stay asleep for a little while longer. He had been ignoring his alarms for a while now, his eyes slightly opening before shutting again as light poured through his windows. He wasn't even up yet and he could already feel a headache blooming, letting out a low groan before sitting up, pulling the blankets off of his body as he rubbed his eyes. He knew the others couldn't take care of Las Nevadas themselves; they all have lives apart from this. But there was still a bit of hope that he would get a day off; or, eventually he would.
He moved to the side a bit so he could let his wings shuffle out of their previous position, stretching out their complete length behind Quackity's body. He let out a more positive sigh, moving his wings around more to make sure they weren't stiff. After he knew he wouldn't be uncomfortable once he folded them, he stood up and rolled his neck side to side, hearing the satisfying pop of relief after he did so.
He got dressed pretty slowly, putting on a short sleeved button up with a tie; then a black vest with dark grey rose print all over it. He then slipped his regular dress pants on, yawning a bit before he put his leather boots on. Say what you will, Quackity knew he looked good in leather.
He ushered over to the bathroom that was in his bedroom, brushing his hair out with a yawn and wiping his scar down with a damp washcloth. He had tried covering it up before, but it took more effort than he wanted and he just didn't really care if people saw it.
The way his scar looked; or, worked, was there was a triangular spot of skin missing where his lip was, and from that spot the scar went up into his eyelid and then to his eye. He was partially blind in that eye, since it was literally torn open with a pickaxe. And his right canine had been taken out by the blow, so he had replaced it with a gold tooth made by Fundy.
He wondered if that's one of the reasons why Karl and Sapnap left him, did he not look attractive with the scar there?
He frowned at the thought, staring at his reflection in the mirror. He would joke a lot before, about how attractive he was, and the others would joke too, but did the scar ruin it all? He spread the washcloth out and over his scar, looking at his facial features without the scar there. He didn't look the same as before, he knew that. There were dark bags under his eyes, and his hair was a lot longer. It was pretty much just a mullet, but it was also longer in the front.
He sighed a bit, lowering the wash cloth but still keeping his eyes on the mirror. His scar did probably ruin things. It took up so much space, and he doesn't think it would be pleasant to kiss someone with a scar like his.
He wanted to miss Karl and Sapnap, and he kind of did, but no matter how much he loved them, they never treated him the same as they treated each other. It was always "Karl, Sapnap, and Quackity" not "Quackity, Karl and Sapnap". If that makes any sense; it did to him.He tried to forget about it, turning his back to the mirror and leaning on the sink counter. It was probably for the best they weren't together anymore. Quackity knew Karl had bad memory, and he knew Sapnap dealt with his own set of problems. They had probably forgot him already.
But that just means he has to deal with the burden of these memories on his own.He held his face in his hands, mimicking the way Karl would hold him. He knew he was just rubbing salt in the wound; but maybe it was better to wallow in sadness for a bit. He has to put up a front when he gets to work anyways, might as well let it out while he can, right?
The only thing that stopped him from having a full on breakdown, was the light knock on his bedroom door and the calling of his name. Shit. What time was it?
He cleared his throat and wiped his eyes slightly, walking forward a bit to peek out of the bathroom
