As I turned, I saw her eyes on the circus tent, then finding mine.

"That was the most unsuccessful trip that I've ever been on," she said, her voice filled with anger. "He's bloody good at hiding things."

I watched as she turned away, heading back towards our horses. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, seeing it not even nine o'clock yet. I sighed, soon seeing something peeking out. I grabbed it, seeing a ticket, a circus ticket. I swallowed as I read the date and time, not even wanting to figure out how it got there as I walked back over to the horses, joining Alex's side. She quickly handed me the reins of Hu and pulled herself up into the saddle, not even waiting for me to get on Hus back before she rode off. Quickly, I thrust myself in the saddle, asking Hu for a trot as I found my stirrups, soon reaching Alex's side.

"What now?" I asked, adjusting my reins as I gave Hu a slight nudge.

Her eyes stayed ahead, no longer looking at me. "Meet with the Druids and figure things out is what's next."

I stared at her, watching as she finally let out a breath, now locking onto my gaze. "I felt uncomfortable in there, something didn't feel right. Nothing normally does with Ydris, but it felt stronger this time."

Not knowing how to reply, I nodded, focusing my attention back on Hu as we worked our way back in silence. I hadn't felt odd around Ydris, I never had been at all. Maybe I was too busy trying to keep him from pulling anything, or letting anything slip about a night ago that I hadn't had the time to think about his presence. Either that, or I simply didn't feel anything, leaving me skeptical.

"Pandora has no time," Alex spoke, interrupting my thoughts. "Ydris has no time. That's his weakness. Time."

I nodded, remembering our last trip to Pandora which felt like a decade ago. "I don't remember much, but I know that the Time Clock succeeded last time."

"Nothings gonna help us with finding any information about him, or his knowledge of Pandora. Not unless we do it ourselves."

Confused, I turned to look at her, already seeing her doing the same. "How would we do that?"
She didn't respond, only leaving the question in the air as we rode our way back to Lindas, every thought swirling in my head.

The past week had come faster than I had thought. All the events that had taken place had bonboudned me with the loss time, and barely any time to think anything over. Ever since me and Alex went to try and gather information off of Ydris, Druid meets had been through the roof. With Fripp still in his coma, and only having Avalon and Evergrey, that's all we really had. Linda had been furrowed when we had returned with no luck, making her send me off everyday until we found a routine. Twice, I had been caught by Xin, making each trip a battle. I remembered when he had first caught me, the emotionless look he had given me, or even if he had given me a look. I didn't know what his possession, or desire was, besides scarring and following me around whenever I approached the Circus. Besides that, we had concluded that the sources of Pandora were uncomfortably strong at the circus, despite my little knowledge of it. Linda had also decided, well, more like Avalon, that I give the visits to the Circus a break. I was thankful for that, for many reasons, but at the same time, it made my stomach sick.

"These visits should stop," Avalon had said. "She's already done enough, and has been caught twice. What will happen if she does it a third time?"
