i changed into a simple black dress and wore the rings kai had given me earlier since wakatoshi told me to dress up. it had already been around 9 when i got to the address wakatoshi sent me.

the lobby was pretty plain, reception desk, mail area and some seating. i went up the elevator all the way up to the 60th floor, i looked for the unit number which was down the long hallway and enter the pin to the door

roses. roses fill my eyesight. white roses, red roses, pink roses scattered all over the apartment

"wakatoshi?"
i call out, no reply

walking further into the apartment to the living the room. a big takashi murakami flower made of everlasting flowers on the coffee table with small roses around it

"boo"

"holy shit dont fucking do that again"
i turn around and cuss wakatoshi out

"sorry i wasn't sure what time you would come here so i just picked up the last gift really quick"
he places the red bag beside the murakami flower on the table

"anyways, happy birthday Y/N"
he smiles gesturing his hands to the table

"thank you so much, but you really did not have to get me all this ive barely known you for a month"
i chuckle

"some people just give off that feeling where youve barely known them but it feels like youve known them for years, and your one of those people"
he shrugs sitting back into the chair

"ill take that as a compliment"
i sit in the chair across from him

"also um your hair it looks nice"
he avoids eye contact and a light pink dust appears on his cheeks

"i got it done today"
i smile at his reaction

"i have dinner reservations, lets go?"
he clears his throat and picks up the red bag on the coffee table

"cute"
i think in my head following him to thr parking garage

he was wearing a short sleeve button up that was 2 buttons not buttoned showing his necklace. black dress pants and plain black designer shoes

"when are you going back to tokyo?"
he pulls out the parking garage making a right turn

"saturday night so i have time to get everything back to normal before monday"
i lean on the arm rest looking out the window with neon signs and building lights out

"what do you want for your birthday?"
a red light hits and he stops looking at me

i stare at him for a second making us both laugh and he makes a "no seriously" face
