Against The World

CHAPTER ONE

Tomorrow is Halloween, it's also my 19th birthday, but to those who really know me it's my 126th time turning 19. My name is Jade Marie Winters and I was turned into a vampire 126 years ago by my crazy ex best friend. I never knew she was a vampire but I knew there was something up with her. She would always be really cold. when we first met we had to run to catch the bus for school because we lived six houses down from each other. Well when we finally got to the bus stop I was so out of breath and she didn't have a single drop of sweat anywhere and she was so much faster then I was. I wanted to start a conversation so I held out my hand and said hi I'm Jade Winters. She took my hand and said hey Jade I'm Chloe Price and I noticed that we live close by each other. I tried to bind down to tie my shoes but I tipped over and fell. Chloe bended down to help me up and when I grabbed her hand I almost went flying into the stop sign. Once we started talking we couldn't be split apart where ever Chloe was there I was. It was six days after my 19th birthday party she told me to meet her in the woods just in front of her house at 12:15am because she had a surprise for me. She said she was going to give it to me for my birthday but it wasn't ready. It was 12:00 when I got to the front of her house and I waited for her for a while before I saw her coming out her house but I didn't see anything in her hand. She walked up to me with this smile that I have never seen on her the whole time we've  known each other.  She pulled me more in the woods without saying a word we just stopped and when I looked at her she had that smile again so I asked her was everything alright. She looked me in the eyes and told me not scream.  Right before my eyes her teeth became shaper and her eyes went from  her normal dark brown eyes to a bright red color. Even though I wanted to scream I couldn't something was stopping me. She lend down to my neck and bit it like I was some kind of meat. She drink my blood until I couldn't stand anymore I hit the ground hard and from the amount of blood I lost I passed out. When I woke it was bright out which means I was out all night. I was so thirst and hungry I started walking back through the woods to get home when I started to smell something I went to follow the amazing sent. Once I noticed the sent was coming from this beautiful girl just walking by something took over my body and I was on that girl in no time drinking away every single drop of blood from her body. After I noticed I killed her I freaked out and left her there. She was on the news for months and so was I not for killing her but because I didn't go back home and my parents thought I was missing. After a while they stopped looking for me and decided I'd  died. I came out of hiding and every since then I've been 19, lonely, and mad I sill haven't seen Chloe and she still thinks I'm dead which I'm going to use to my advantage for when I kill her she won't see it coming.  Chloe Price your days on earth are numbered.
