Against The World

CHAPTER TWO

I was laying in bed with my head covered up with the blanket and after a while I start to hear moving down stairs. I know before he even came up the stairs I knew it was because his smell was so strong I stayed under the blanket as he walked through the door and before he even said anything I spoke up.

"Hey Brandon, why are you here today."

"Hey, I'm here  because I come here every morning to get a ride or did you forget."

"Oh no I forgot to tell you yesterday that I'm not going to school today so you can find a ride to school."

"Well yea you forgot to tell me and why aren't you going to school today are you sick."

"No I never get sick but I'm not going today or tomorrow because my birthday is tomorrow and I don't feel like getting out of bed."

Brandon walked over to my bed and pulled the blanket off me.

"Brandon stop it's cold in here!"

"But that doesn't bother you does it."

"W-what do you mean by that."

"Your always cold I just thought you don't feel cold anymore since your basically frozen. "

He started to laugh and I sat up in bed and let my feet hangover the side.

"Now get up Jade and get dressed before we're late."

"What I'm not going today I'm to tired."

"Yes you are now get up before I get you out of bed myself."

I slowly climbed out of bed and walked to my bathroom and got dressed for school. Once I was done we left the house and drove to school. I parked in my parking spot. When we got out of the car I can hear a lot of yelling and every year around this time all my senses and craving for the human blood are out of control and that's one of the reasons why I didn't want to come to school today and be around all these humans. It's like walking around in a all you can eat and you can't have any of it. I had stopped walking right in my tracks when Josh the head of the football team was playing around he fell on the ground hard and was now bleeding and if I had a heartbeat I just know it would be beating out of my chest. I looked at Brandon and told him to go to class I would meet him there he turned around to look at me and saw the pain in my eye's.

"Jade what's wrong with you. "

"Nothing just go to class and wait for me please. "

I yelled in his face but he still didn't move from his spot in front of me. I started to run away using my vampire speed into the woods right behind my school. I was a mile or two away from the school and it was time to look for food before someone at my school becomes my next meal. I walked a little more before I saw a deer drinking water when I football tackle it and start my meal. I was half way done with my deer when I heard my name being called and a gasp from  behind me. When I turned around I still had the deers blood on my face. Now I'm face to face with my two best friends Brandon and Bryan looking at me with horror in their eyes.

"Oh shit."
"Jade what are you. "

They both asked the question as my teeth and eyes slowly return to normal.

"I have to tell you both something that no one else  can know."

Hey guys sk tell me what you think on how Brandon and Bryan find out what Jade is. I guess she has a lot to explain to them right.

P.s I imagine Jade as Lucy Hale, Brandon as Luke Brooks, and Bryan as Justin Bieber.
