Against The World

CHAPTER THREE

"I have to tell you both something that no one else can know. "

After the guys found me in the woods behind our school eating a deer I had told them I will explain to them what they saw.

"Hey Brandon I guess I'm not going to school today after all."

I started to laugh but neither of them laughed not even a smile from either of them. This is going to be a long day. Brandon spoke up first.

"There is no time for playing I want to know why  the hell were you eating that thing over there and I want the truth."

"Okay guys let's get out of here and I'll explain everything when we get to my house I promise. "

They both nodded and started to follow me though the woods to my car. I opened the doors they got in then when we started driving I tried multiple times to start a conversation but neither of them were in the talking mood I'm  guessing so I gave up after a while and focused on the road. When we got to my house I went upstairs to shower so that I can get the deer blood off of me and figure out how I'm going to explain this to them without freaking them out anymore. When I was done with my shower I put on a pair of shorts and a jumper over a t-shirt. I walked down stairs to see my best friends on their phones when I entered the living room they both looked at me and got up from the couch.

" Do you guys want something to eat, or drink."

"No Jade we want you to talk to us  and stop trying to find ways out of this conversation. "

"That's not what I'm doing Brandon I'm just trying to make sure you guys don't feel weird or anything like that because what I'm about to tell you is very important. "

They both nodded while I went into the kitchen to make some sandwiches for them. I came back into the living room  I handed them their food and sat down on the floor on the other side of the room.

"Jade you can still sit next to us we're all still friends ,we're just confused about what's going on."

"Thanks Bryan but it's safer for you guys if I sit all the way over here."

"S-safer for us."

"Yes I wouldn't do anything to hurt you but I can't speak for my other half she always speaks for herself , and if she comes out to play I wouldn't be able to help you because she  is pretty crazy. "

"Jade what are you talking about, was that her in the woods back there with that deer between her teeth. "

" Yes Brandon."

They were done with their sandwiches now and sitting cross-legged on my couch so I started to explain. By the end they both were looking at me like I was telling a story about a movie or something.

"So I've been turning 19 for 126 years now."

"Ummm I - I don't get it, So why don't you just go look for her."

" I have been looking for her but I'm not spending any more time just looking for her, when I was first turned I wasted alot of time looking for her. One day our paths will meet again and when they do I will be ready."

"So have you found someone that you can keep going back to them and they will always be there for you, like someone you count on to be there for you."

"No I-I don't have anyone I'm lonely that's why I continue to go back to high school, so that I can be around people my age because I would never turn someone unwilling I know how that feels and it's not a good feeling."

Brandon looks at Bryan then back at me.

"You like us ,like we're best friends right."

"Yes I love you guys and it's going to be so hard to let you go but that's just how it is."

"It doesn't have to be that way Jade."

"What do you mean Bryan that's just how it has to happen no matter how much I love you two I can never do this to you because I wouldn't have you in the end you would hate me if I do this to you."

"Not if we want you to turn us."

"W-what Brandon why would you two want me to turn you into a monster. "

"Because one we don't want to die, second we don't want you to be alone , third we love you too and don't want to be without you, and lastly we want to help you kill that Chloe bitch."

"Really..,but I couldn't... no I'm not turning you guys."

"Why not Jade you don't want to be alone we don't want to die and you say you love us and you know we love you what's the problem. "

"Fine but not now I want you two to think about what your asking from me."

"Okay but we come to you when we feel ready not the other way around."

"Fine no earlier than two weeks. "

"Deal."
