Val Looked over to where she heard footsteps, seeing ZhenZhen walking over to them "you guys are from the, um, the camp, right?" Gabriel asked, looking at ZhenZhen. Though she didn't talk he looked back at Alex "and hey Marcus"
"Hey". Marcus said
"She's not much of a talker". Alex told him, looking at ZhenZhen as she looked up at the sky and then to them
Val was about to say something but got cut off when Dariush got back up and went over to Gabriel pointing a finger at him
"You know what? You know. . ." He stuttered out on what to say "you know what? That was a lucky punch". He admitted
"I'm pretty sure it wasn't a lucky punch, you just suck"
"Shut it Valerie". He turned to Val, using the nickname of what Logan calls her then turned back to Gabriel "you know, I haven't acclimated to the altitudes yet".
"For the thousandth time! It's Valentine! Or Val!"
"Do you need to see Dr.Ross again?" Marcus whispered to her as he saw the glare she held at Dariush
"No, my anger issues isn't that bad"
"-so my reflexes are kinda. . ." Dariush panted heavily "sub-par".
Just then they all heard loud booms, they all whipped their heads around
Boom! Boom! Boom!
It continued, the kids all looked around trying to see the resource of where the sounds were coming from, Val inched her way to Marcus who stood next to Gabriel
"What's happening". Val turned to her brother
"How am I supposed to know". Marcus looked around again as the booms continued to get louder
"If we have to run again, I am not dressed nicely"
"Val, sweetie. Shush". Dariush told her
"Her names Valentine, not sweetie". Marcus rolled his eyes

Though they ignored Val again, continuing to look around, the booms getting even more louder than before
