I had just finished my work and if you're finished you can just to whatever so I was talking to the girls while I waited for the bell to ring. I felt eyes on me so I looked around and spotted one of my exes looking at me. He cheated on me multiple times, treated me like shit, and he was just sneaky period. I rolled my eyes and looked away.
"Whatchu rollin yo eyes for?" Alaysja spoke
"Cuz Jay's stupid ass is staring at me" I revealed
"Don't make it obvious" I added knowing she was gonna look. She whipped her head around and was clearly looking at him.
"Alaysja" I punched her arm
"Yeah. She fine right. Too bad you fucked up cuz she became the girl that you can't have" she bragged
"Stop" I punched her arm harder
"Ow" she rubbed her arm
"You're gonna make a scene" I covered my face, embarrassed
"Good. Now all these other butches can know what a player he is" she shrugged her shoulders. I removed my hand from my face and gave her a death stare.
"My bad" she put her hands up in surrender. I looked back over at Jay and he was talking to his friends but he glanced at me. He was obviously talking about me. I rolled my eyes again.
"Just don't give him the attention" Brazil advised. She was right and I just know that he's gonna come up to me and try to ask for me back and try not to make it seem like he's asking for me back.

It was the end of the day and I was at my locker, getting my basketball wear ready.
"Yo" I heard. I jumped and looked in the direction of the voice to see Jahseh.
"Boy.......don't be comin up on me like that" I said with my band over my heart.
"My bad. I ain't mean to scare you" he chuckled
" You good?" He questioned
"From that little scare? Yeah" I answered
"Well yeah that too but you seem like.......bothered" he says
"Bothered? I'm not bothered......why would I be bothered?" I said
"Well I could see you from the other side of the hall and.....I just can tell" he shrugged his shoulders
"How can you tell?" I asked
"So you are bothered" he said more like a statement
"Yes I am Jahseh" I admit
"Why? What happened?" He questioned
"Ummm........well..........it's a long story Jahseh. It really is. Don't worry about it. I'm fine. I gotta go. I have practice" I denied as I closed my locker and walked to the gym.

JAHSEH POV
She's definitely one of those girls that doesn't open up easily. What was wrong? Why was she so bothered? I knew she was upset. I walked out the school and got in my car. I drove home. When I arrived home I immediately went to the kitchen, smelling a familiar scent but then it hit me..........fuckin spaghetti.......OF COURSE. A nigga was hungry tho so I ate, my mom had already made me a bowl. My oldest brother Jahmeir had came over and my older brother Jahsiah was over here as well. They had already moved out but the visit a lot. We all sat at the kitchen table. We all started to eat.
"How was school?" Pops spoke
"Today was..........different" I answer
"What happened baby?" Mama questioned
"I met this girl today......." I started
"You better be careful especially with the girls around here" Jahmeir spoke
"Let him talk Meir" mama says
"She's different. The way she looks, her personality, her hobbies, everything " I continued
"You like her?" Jahsiah questioned
"No. I just met her. There's just sum about her but when the day was over she looked bothered and like upset and I asked her what was wrong and she just told me it was a long story and she left" I spoke
"Son, she's not gonna wanna open up to you right away especially since y'all just met" pops said
"Yeah and girls don't really open up like that even when you get to know her more. You're gonna have to work for the trust of her opening up to you" Mama added
"Don't get too comfortable with her too soon" Jahsiah adds. Jahsiah and Jahmeir are. Wry protective of me. Girls in their past have manipulated them for dick or money and they don't want me to go through the same thing so they become really protective when it comes to girls.
"Well she seems like a nice girl" Mama says
"They like to seem nice at first" Jahmeir said
"You guys don't even know this girl so why are you tryna make her seem like sum she's not" I defended
"Oh so you like her?" Jahmeir says
"No-never mind" I shook my head. I got up and put my bowl in the sink. I went upstairs and hopped in the shower.
